Nesting gift wrap roll systems and related methods

Abstract

Nesting gift wrap roll systems and related methods are provided herein. A nesting gift wrap roll system can include an outer roll having a roll diameter and an inner roll with a roll diameter. The outer roll can include an outer roll core having a first core inner diameter and a first core outer diameter as well as a first gift wrap paper wrapped around the first core outer diameter. The inner roll can include an inner roll core having a second core inner diameter and a second core outer diameter as well as a second gift wrap paper wrapped around the second core outer diameter. The inner roll diameter of the inner roll can be a smaller diameter than the first core inner diameter of the outer roll core, such that the inner roll is insertable into the outer roll core of the outer roll.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A nesting gift wrap roll system comprising:
 an outer roll having an outer roll diameter and an inner roll with an inner roll diameter;   the outer roll comprising an outer roll core having a first core inner diameter and a first core outer diameter and a first gift wrap paper wrapped around the first core outer diameter;   the inner roll comprising an inner roll core having a second core inner diameter and a second core outer diameter, and a second gift wrap paper wrapped around the second core outer diameter; and   the inner roll diameter of the inner roll being a smaller diameter than the first core inner diameter of the outer roll core, such that the inner roll is insertable into the outer roll core of the outer roll.   
     
     
         2 . The nesting gift wrap roll system according to  claim 1 , wherein the first gift wrap paper is different in at least one of design, color, or pattern from the second gift wrap paper. 
     
     
         3 . The nesting gift wrap roll system according to  claim 1 , wherein the outer roll core comprises a hard core that provides a stable inner core diameter of the outer roll core. 
     
     
         4 . The nesting gift wrap roll system according to  claim 1 , wherein a width of the first gift wrap paper of the outer roll is about equal to a width of the outer roll core of the outer roll. 
     
     
         5 . The nesting gift wrap roll system according to  claim 1 , wherein a width of the second gift wrap paper of the inner roll is about equal to a width of the inner roll core of the inner roll. 
     
     
         6 . The nesting gift wrap roll system according to  claim 1 , further comprising a wrap material tightly covering the outer roll once the inner roll is inserted into the first core inner diameter of the outer roll core to facilitate holding of the inner roll within the outer roll core of the outer roll. 
     
     
         7 . The nesting gift wrap roll system according to  claim 6 , wherein the wrap material comprises a shrink wrap material that constricts upon heat being applied to the shrink wrap material. 
     
     
         8 . The nesting gift wrap roll system according to  claim 7 , wherein the shrink wrap material comprises a sleeve in which the outer roll is insertable. 
     
     
         9 . The nesting gift wrap roll system according to  claim 6 , further comprising securement strips placed over the wrap material at either end of the outer roll to help secure the nested inner roll in the first core inner diameter of the outer roll core until the wrap material is removed and the outer and inner rolls are ready for use by a consumer. 
     
     
         10 . The nesting gift wrap roll system according to  claim 9 , wherein the securement strips having indicia thereon to provide information regarding the first gift wrap paper and the second gift wrap paper. 
     
     
         11 . The nesting gift wrap roll system according to  claim 9 , wherein the securement strips have an adhesive that has a strength that, when each of the securement strips is applied a respective end of the outer roll over the wrap material, the securement strips hold the inner roll within the outer roll. 
     
     
         12 . A nesting gift wrap roll system comprising:
 an outer roll having an outer roll diameter and an inner roll with an inner roll diameter;   the outer roll comprising a hard outer roll core having a first core inner diameter and a first core outer diameter and a first gift wrap paper wrapped around the first core outer diameter;   the inner roll comprising an inner roll core having a second core inner diameter and a second core outer diameter, and a second gift wrap paper wrapped around the second core outer diameter;   the inner roll diameter of the inner roll being a smaller diameter than the first core inner diameter of the hard outer roll core, such that the inner roll is insertable into the hard outer roll core of the outer roll;   a wrap material tightly covering the outer roll once the inner roll is inserted into the first core inner diameter of the hard outer roll core; and   securement strips over the wrap material at either end of the outer roll to help secure the nested inner roll in the first core inner diameter of the hard outer roll core until the wrap material is removed and the outer and inner rolls are ready for use by a consumer.   
     
     
         13 . The nesting gift wrap roll system according to  claim 12 , wherein first gift wrap paper is different from the second gift wrap paper. 
     
     
         14 . The nesting gift wrap roll system according to  claim 12 , wherein the wrap material comprises a shrink wrap material that constricts upon heat being applied to the shrink wrap material. 
     
     
         15 . The nesting gift wrap roll system according to  claim 14 , wherein the shrink wrap material comprises a sleeve in which the outer roll is insertable. 
     
     
         16 . The nesting gift wrap roll system according to  claim 12 , wherein a width of the first gift wrap paper of the outer roll is about equal to a width of the hard outer roll core of the outer roll. 
     
     
         17 . The nesting gift wrap roll system according to  claim 12 , wherein a width of the second gift wrap paper of the inner roll is about equal to a width of the inner roll core of the inner roll. 
     
     
         18 . The nesting gift wrap roll system according to  claim 12 , wherein the securement strips have an adhesive that has a strength that, when each of the securement strips is applied a respective end of the outer roll over the wrap material, the securement strips hold the inner roll within the outer roll. 
     
     
         19 . A method of assembling nesting gift wrap rolls comprising:
 providing an outer roll having an outer roll diameter with the outer roll comprising an outer roll core having a first core inner diameter and a first core outer diameter and a first gift wrap paper wrapped around the first core outer diameter;   providing an inner roll with an inner roll diameter with the inner roll comprising an inner roll core having a second core inner diameter and a second core outer diameter, and a second gift wrap paper wrapped around the second core outer diameter with the inner roll diameter of the inner roll being a smaller diameter than the first core inner diameter of the outer roll core;   inserting the inner roll into the outer roll core of the outer roll;   covering the outer roll with a wrap material once the inner roll is inserted into the first core inner diameter of the outer roll core to facilitate holding the inner roll in first core inner diameter of the outer roll core of the outer roll; and   securing securement strips over the wrap material at either end of the outer roll to help secure the nested inner roll in the first core inner diameter of the outer roll core.   
     
     
         20 . The method according to  claim 19 , wherein the wrap material comprises a shrink wrap material and further comprising applying heat to the shrink wrap material to constrict the shrink wrap material around the outer roll.
