Cleaner

Abstract

A cleaner may include an intake portion configured to draw in debris from a surface to be cleaned, and a drum that is rotatable while arranged in the intake portion, and including: a body including: a first end along a rotational axis of the drum, the first end having a first end outer diameter and including: a body connecting portion, and a body spaced portion spaced from the body connecting portion along the rotational axis, and a second end along the rotational axis opposite the first end and having a second end outer diameter that is larger than the first end outer diameter, and a connecting body couplable to the first end of the body, and including a connecting portion connectable to the body spaced portion, wherein with the connecting body coupled to the first end of the body, the connecting portion is connected to the body spaced portion.

1 . A cleaner, comprising:
 an intake portion configured to draw in debris from a surface to be cleaned; and   a drum that is rotatable while arranged in the intake portion, and including:
 a drum body including:
 a first end along a rotational axis direction of the drum, the first end having a first end outer diameter and including:
 a body connecting portion, and 
 a body spaced portion spaced from the body connecting portion along the rotational axis direction of the drum, and 
 
 a second end along the rotational axis direction of the drum opposite the first end and having a second end outer diameter that is larger than the first end outer diameter, and 
 
 a connecting body couplable to the first end of the drum body, and including a connecting portion connectable to the body spaced portion, 
 wherein with the connecting body coupled to the first end of the drum body, the connecting portion is connected to the body spaced portion. 
   
     
     
         2 . The cleaner of  claim 1 , wherein
 the drum body is a first drum body,   a first end of the connecting body is couplable to the first end of the first drum body, and   the drum further includes:
 a second drum body including:
 a third end along the rotational axis direction of the drum having a third end outer diameter, and that is couplable to a second end of the connecting body opposite of the first end of the connecting body to which the first end of the first drum body is couplable, and 
 a fourth end along the rotational axis direction of the drum opposite the third end of the second drum body and having a fourth end outer diameter that is larger than the third end outer diameter. 
 
   
     
     
         3 . The cleaner of  claim 2 , wherein
 the body connecting portion of the first end is a first body connecting portion,   the connecting portion of the connecting body is a first connecting portion,   the connecting body further includes a second connecting portion on the second end of the connecting body,   the third end of the second drum body includes a second body connecting portion couplable to the second end of the connecting body and connectable to the first body connecting portion, and   with the first end of the connecting body coupled to the first end of the first drum body and the second end of the connecting body coupled to the third end of the second drum body, the second body connecting portion is coupled to the second end of the connecting body and the second body connecting portion is connected to the first body connecting portion.   
     
     
         4 . The cleaner of  claim 3 , wherein
 the body spaced portion of the first end is a first body spaced portion,   the third end of the second drum body includes a second body spaced portion connectable to the second connecting portion, and   with the third end of the second drum body coupled to the second end of the connecting body, the second connecting portion is connected to the second body spaced portion.   
     
     
         5 . The cleaner of  claim 4 , wherein the second body connecting portion is spaced from the second body spaced portion along the rotational axis direction of the drum. 
     
     
         6 . The cleaner of  claim 2 , wherein
 the body connecting portion of the first end is a first body connecting portion,   the body spaced portion of the first end is a first body spaced portion, and   the third end of the second drum body further includes:
 a second body connecting portion, and 
 a second body spaced portion spaced from the second body connecting portion in the rotational axis direction of the drum. 
   
     
     
         7 . The cleaner of  claim 6 , wherein
 the connecting portion of the connecting body is a first connecting portion,   the first end of the connecting body further includes a second connecting portion connectable to the first body connecting portion, and   the second end of the connecting body includes:
 a third connecting portion connectable to the second body spaced portion, and 
 a fourth connecting portion connectable to the second body connecting portion. 
   
     
     
         8 . The cleaner of  claim 7 , wherein
 the first drum body includes a first material,   the drum further includes a drum brush including a second material more flexible than the first material,   the first drum body includes a first brush mounting portion to which a first portion of the drum brush is detachably mountable,   the second drum body includes a second brush mounting portion to which a second portion of the drum brush is detachably mountable, and   the connecting body includes a connecting brush mounting portion to which a third portion of the drum brush is detachably mountable.   
     
     
         9 . The cleaner of  claim 2 , wherein
 the first drum body includes a first body support portion into which at least a portion of the first end of the connecting body is insertable,   the second drum body includes a second body support portion into which at least a portion of the second end of the connecting body is insertable, and   with the portion of the first end of the connecting body inserted into the first body support portion and the second end of the connecting body inserted into the second body support portion, the first drum body and the second drum body are coupled to the connecting body.   
     
     
         10 . The cleaner of  claim 2 , wherein
 the first drum body includes a first material,   the second drum body includes a second material,   the drum further includes a drum brush including a third material more flexible than the first material and the second material,   the first drum body includes a first brush mounting portion to which at least a first portion of the drum brush is detachably mountable, and   the second drum body includes a second brush mounting portion to which at least a second portion of the drum brush is detachably mountable.   
     
     
         11 . The cleaner of  claim 10 , wherein
 the first brush mounting portion extends helically in a first direction along an outer circumferential surface of the first drum body,   the second brush mounting portion extends helically in a second direction along an outer circumferential surface of the second drum body, the first direction being different from the second direction,   the first brush mounting portion and the second brush mounting portion are connected at a boundary portion, and   the connecting body includes a blocking portion configured to cover at least a portion of a boundary portion.   
     
     
         12 . The cleaner of  claim 11 , wherein, with the connecting body coupled to the first drum body and the second drum body, the blocking portion forms a portion of an outer circumferential surface of the drum. 
     
     
         13 . The cleaner of  claim 1 , wherein
 the connecting portion of the connecting body is a first connecting portion,   the connecting body further includes a second connecting portion connectable to the body connecting portion, and   with the connecting body coupled to the first end of the drum body, the second connecting portion is connected to the body connecting portion.   
     
     
         14 . The cleaner of  claim 1 , wherein
 the connecting body includes a connection surface forming portion, and   with the connecting body coupled to the first end of the drum body, the connection surface forming portion forms at least a portion of an outer circumferential surface of the drum.   
     
     
         15 . The cleaner of  claim 1 , wherein the connecting body includes a diameter that does not change along the rotational axis direction of the drum.
