Garment including stretch panels

Abstract

A garment comprising a first garment region comprising a first material comprising a lightweight material; a second garment region comprising a second material comprising a stretchable fabric; and a third garment region comprising a third material comprising a durable material that is more waterproof or water-resistant than the first and second materials.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A garment comprising:
 a lower garment comprising:
 a front portion comprising a first front portion (FP 1 ), a second front portion (FP 2 ), and a third front portion (FP 3 ); 
 a back portion comprising a first back portion (BP 1 ) and a second back portion (BP 2 ); and 
 one or more side portions extending between the front portion and the back portion of the lower garment, 
   wherein the lower garment comprises:
 a first garment region comprising the first front portion (FP 1 ), wherein the first garment region comprises a first material comprising a lightweight material; 
 a second garment region comprising the second front portion (FP 2 ) and the first back portion (BP 1 ), wherein the second garment region comprises a second material comprising a stretchable fabric; and 
 a third garment region comprising the third front portion (FP 3 ) and the second back portion (BP 2 ), wherein the third garment region comprises a third material that is durable and more waterproof or water-resistant than the first and second materials. 
   
     
     
         2 . The garment of  claim 1 , wherein the first front portion (FP 1 ) is configured to extend from a waistband region of the garment to an intermediate region disposed between the waistband region and a bottom hem region of the garment, wherein the intermediate region is disposed along an upper, middle, and/or lower leg portion of the garment. 
     
     
         3 . The garment of  claim 2 , wherein the first front portion (FP 1 ) has an upper boundary disposed along an upper edge of the waistband region of the garment and a lower boundary extending across the intermediate region of the garment. 
     
     
         4 . The garment of  claim 3 , wherein the lower boundary is formed by one or more boundary lines that extend diagonally across the intermediate region or a portion thereof. 
     
     
         5 . The garment of  claim 4 , wherein the one or more boundary lines comprise two or more boundary lines that extend diagonally across the intermediate region, wherein the two or more boundary lines have different angular orientations. 
     
     
         6 . The garment of  claim 3 , wherein the lower boundary has (i) a first end disposed along or adjacent to an outer left/right side edge of the garment and (ii) a second end disposed along or adjacent to an inner seam region of the garment, wherein the first end is positioned higher than the second end. 
     
     
         7 . The garment of  claim 6 , wherein the first front portion (FP 1 ) has an outer left/right side boundary extending diagonally from the waistband region of the garment towards the outer left/right side edge of the garment. 
     
     
         8 . The garment of  claim 7 , wherein the outer left/right side boundary is configured to extend from the waistband region of the garment to a portion or a section of the outer left/right side edge of the garment that is disposed above the lower boundary of the first front portion (FP 1 ) of the garment. 
     
     
         9 . The garment of  claim 8 , wherein an offset distance or a separation distance between the outer left/right side boundary of the first front portion (FP 1 ) and the outer left/right side edge of the garment gradually decreases as the first front portion (FP 1 ) extends downwards from the waistband region towards the outer left/right side edge of the garment. 
     
     
         10 . The garment of  claim 7 , wherein the second front portion (FP 2 ) is configured to extend between the outer left/right side boundary of the first front portion (FP 1 ) and the outer left/right side edge of the garment. 
     
     
         11 . The garment of  claim 10 , wherein the second front portion (FP 2 ) is configured to extend from the waistband region to a point of intersection or convergence between the outer left/right side boundary of the first front portion (FP 1 ) and the outer left/right side edge of the garment. 
     
     
         12 . The garment of  claim 11 , wherein a width of the second front portion (FP 2 ) decreases as the second front portion (FP 2 ) extends downwards from the waistband region to the point of intersection or convergence between the outer left/right side boundary of the first front portion (FP 1 ) and the outer left/right side edge of the garment. 
     
     
         13 . The garment of  claim 3 , wherein the third front portion (FP 3 ) is configured to extend from the lower boundary of the first front portion (FP 1 ) to the bottom hem region of the garment. 
     
     
         14 . The garment of  claim 1 , wherein the first back portion (BP 1 ) has an upper boundary disposed along an upper edge of a waistband region of the garment and a lower boundary extending across an intermediate region of the garment, wherein the lower boundary is formed by one or more boundary lines extending diagonally across the intermediate region. 
     
     
         15 . The garment of  claim 14 , wherein the first back portion (BP 1 ) has an upper boundary disposed along an upper edge of the waistband region and a lower boundary extending across an upper, middle, and/or lower leg portion of the garment. 
     
     
         16 . The garment of  claim 15 , wherein the first back portion (BP 1 ) has an outer left/right side boundary extending along an outer left/right side edge of the garment from the waistband region to a first end of the lower boundary and an inner left/right side boundary extending along an inseam region of the garment from a crotch region of the garment to a second end of the lower boundary, wherein the inner left/right side boundary is configured to extend further downwards along the leg portion of the garment than the outer left/right side boundary. 
     
     
         17 . The garment of  claim 15 , wherein the second back portion (BP 2 ) is configured to extend around a back side of the leg portion of the garment from the lower boundary of the first back portion (BP 1 ) to a bottom hem region of the garment. 
     
     
         18 . The garment of  claim 7 , wherein the first garment region and the second garment region are joined together along a boundary line that coincides with the outer left/right side boundary of the first front portion (FP 1 ) of the garment, wherein a portion of the boundary line is configured to extend diagonally across the one or more side portions of the garment. 
     
     
         19 . The garment of  claim 18 , wherein the first garment region and the third garment region are joined together along one or more boundary lines that coincide with the lower boundary of the first front portion (FP 1 ) of the garment and/or an outer left/right side boundary of the first front portion (FP 1 ), wherein a portion of the one or more boundary lines is configured to extend diagonally across the front portion of the garment and/or the one or more side portions of the garment. 
     
     
         20 . The garment of  claim 15 , wherein the second garment region and the third garment region are joined together along a boundary line that coincides with the lower boundary of the first back portion (BP 1 ) of the garment, wherein a portion of the boundary line is configured to extend diagonally across the one or more side portions of the garment.
