Clothing article for unassisted dressing

Abstract

The present invention provides for an article of clothing which is designed to allow a person to dress without the assistance of others. The present invention is further designed to be an outfit that makes a person feel comfortable, fully dressed, and able to use the restroom without a fear of falling, soiling clothing, or assistance undressing. Generally, this invention discloses an upper garment, a lower garment, and a rear panel. The lower garment incorporates hook and loop fasteners to allow a person to easily fasten pant legs. The rear panel may cover the rear end of a person when standing and uncover the rear end of a person when sitting.

I claim: 
     
         1 . A garment comprising:
 an upper garment, said upper garment further comprising a torso portion that can be worn by a wearer; a left arm sleeve; a right arm sleeve; a neck hole; a lower edge; and an upper garment attachment;   a lower garment, said lower garment further comprising a left leg; a right leg; a seam; seam closure attachments; and an upper edge;   a lower access seam; and   a rear panel.   
     
     
         2 . The garment according to  claim 1 , wherein said lower edge of the upper garment is connected to said upper edge of the lower garment creating a garment seam. 
     
     
         3 . The garment seam according to  claim 2 , wherein said garment seam extends from the back to the front and ends before connecting thereby creating a lower access seam. 
     
     
         4 . The garment according to  claim 1 , wherein said left leg is secured in various locations by seam closure attachments, and wherein said right leg is secured in various locations by seam closure attachments. 
     
     
         5 . The garment according to  claim 1 , wherein said rear panel attaches to the upper garment via the upper garment attachments. 
     
     
         6 . The rear panel according to  claim 1 , wherein said rear panel in a closed position provides the most coverage when said garment is upright, and wherein said rear panel in an open position provides the least coverage when said garment is at an angle of or about 90 degrees.
