Skirt pocket system

Abstract

A skirt apparel system having an aperture through a skirt portion, wherein the zipper opens access, via a skirt aperture, to a pocket attached to a lower garment worn underneath the skirt portion. The skirt apparel system has a detachable fastener configured to move the aperture between a closed condition and a plurality of open conditions enabling access through the skirt portion.

1 . A skirt pocket system consisting of:
 a skirt portion;   a lower garment portion subjacent the skirt portion when the skirt pocket system is worn, wherein the lower garment portion provides subjacent pocket; and   for the subjacent pocket, an aperture in the skirt portion is above an opening of the subjacent pocket, wherein the aperture does not lead to a pocket of the skirt portion.   
     
     
         2 . The skirt pocket system of  claim 1 , wherein the skirt portion and the lower garment portion are joined to define a one-piece article. 
     
     
         3 . The skirt pocket system of  claim 2 , wherein the skirt portion and the lower garment portion are joined along a shared waistline.

         7 . The skirt pocket system of  claim 1 , wherein the aperture is horizontally oriented when the skirt pocket system is worn.

         10 . A skirt pocket system consisting of:
 a skirt portion;   a lower garment portion subjacent the skirt portion when the skirt pocket system is worn, wherein the lower garment portion provides a subjacent pocket;   for the subjacent pocket, an aperture in the skirt portion is above an opening of the subjacent pocket, wherein the aperture does not lead to a pocket of the skirt portion; and   a detachable fastener configured to move the aperture between a closed condition and a plurality of open conditions enabling access through the skirt portion.   
     
     
         11 . The skirt pocket system of  claim 10 , wherein the detachable fastener is a zipper. 
     
     
         12 . The skirt pocket system of  claim 11 , wherein the aperture is elongated and longitudinally extends in a first direction, and wherein the opening of the subjacent pocket is elongated and longitudinally extends in the first direction aligned with the aperture. 
     
     
         13 . A skirt pocket system consisting of:
 a skirt portion;   a lower garment portion subjacent the skirt portion when the skirt pocket system is worn, wherein the lower garment portion provides a plurality of subjacent pockets; and   for each subjacent pocket, an aperture in the skirt portion is above an opening of the subjacent pocket, wherein the aperture does not lead to a pocket of the skirt portion.   
     
     
         14 . The skirt pocket system of  claim 13 , wherein the skirt portion and the lower garment portion are joined to define a one-piece article. 
     
     
         15 . The skirt pocket system of  claim 14 , wherein the skirt portion and the lower garment portion are joined along a shared waistline. 
     
     
         16 . The skirt pocket system of  claim 15 , wherein the aperture is elongated and longitudinally extends in a first direction transverse to the shared waistline, and wherein the opening of the subjacent pocket is elongated and longitudinally extends in a second direction orthogonal to the first direction.
