Abstract

An air conditioner includes: an indoor unit including an indoor heat exchanger; and an outdoor unit including an outdoor heat exchanger. The indoor heat exchanger includes: an indoor flat tube; and an indoor fin joined to the indoor flat tube. The outdoor heat exchanger includes an outdoor flat tube; and an outdoor fin joined to the outdoor flat tube. A potential difference between the indoor fin and the indoor flat tube is smaller than a potential difference between the outdoor fin and the outdoor flat tube.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

1 . An air conditioner comprising:
an indoor unit comprising an indoor heat exchanger; and an outdoor unit comprising an outdoor heat exchanger, wherein the indoor heat exchanger comprises:
 an indoor flat tube; and
an indoor fin joined to the indoor flat tube,
   the outdoor heat exchanger comprises:
 an outdoor flat tube; and
an outdoor fin joined to the outdoor flat tube, and
a potential difference between the indoor fin and the indoor flat tube is smaller than a potential difference between the outdoor fin and the outdoor flat tube.

2 . The air conditioner according to claim 1 , wherein a potential of the indoor fin is higher than a potential of the outdoor fin.

3 . The air conditioner according to claim 1 , wherein a potential of the indoor fin is higher than a potential of the indoor flat tube.

4 . The air conditioner according to claim 1 , wherein the potential difference between the indoor fin and the indoor flat tube is not less than 20 mV and not more than 60 mV.

5 . The air conditioner according to claim 1 , wherein a potential of the indoor fin with respect to a saturated calomel electrode is not less than −890 mV and not more than −750 mV.

6 . The air conditioner according to claim 1 , wherein a potential of the indoor fin with respect to a saturated calomel electrode is not less than −890 mV and not more than −800 mV.

7 . The air conditioner according to claim 1 , wherein the air conditioner switches between a cooling operation and a heating operation.
