Abstract

A noise reducing baffle system for an indoor pickleball court includes a noise baffle cloud grid suspended above a surface of the indoor pickleball court. The indoor pickleball court includes an outer perimeter line which defines a playing area. The noise baffle cloud grid is suspended entirely within the outer perimeter line of the playing area and is suspended between about 18 feet and about 20 feet above the surface of the indoor pickleball court.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

1 . A noise reducing baffle system for an indoor pickleball court, comprising:
a noise baffle cloud grid, wherein the noise baffle cloud grid is suspended above a surface of the indoor pickleball court, wherein the surface of the indoor pickleball court includes an outer perimeter line defining a playing area, wherein the noise baffle cloud grid is suspended entirely within the outer perimeter line of the playing area, and wherein the noise baffle cloud grid is suspended between about 18 feet and about 20 feet above the surface of the indoor pickleball court.

2 . The noise reducing baffle system of claim 1 , wherein the noise baffle cloud grid is comprised of a plurality of separate baffle grid sections.

3 . The noise reducing baffle system of claim 2 , wherein the noise baffle cloud grid is comprised of seven separate baffle grid sections.

4 . The noise reducing baffle system of claim 2 , wherein the plurality of baffle grid sections of the noise baffle cloud grid are positioned along a first column, a second column, and a third column, wherein the first column, the second column, and the third column extend parallel to a court center line of the indoor pickleball court.

5 . The noise reducing baffle system of claim 4 , wherein each of the first column, second column, and third column include 5 baffle grid sections.

6 . The noise reducing baffle system of claim 4 , wherein each of the first column, the second column, and the third column includes a width parallel to a baseline of the indoor pickleball court of less than about 20 feet.

7 . The noise reducing baffle system of claim 6 , wherein each of the first column, the second column, and the third column comprise a length parallel to the court center line of less than about 40 feet.

8 . The noise reducing baffle system of claim 2 , where the plurality of separate baffle grid sections includes a first baffle grid section and a second baffle grid section, and
wherein the first baffle grid section is different than the second baffle grid section.

9 . The noise reducing baffle system of claim 1 , wherein the noise baffle cloud grid is centered along the court center line of the indoor pickleball court.

10 . The noise reducing baffle system of claim 1 , wherein the noise baffle cloud grid does not include a metal support structure.

11 . The noise reducing baffle system of claim 1 , wherein the noise baffle cloud grid reduces reverberation of a flutter echo by at least about 30%.

12 . A noise reducing baffle system for an indoor pickleball court, comprising:
a plurality of baffle grid sections, wherein the plurality of baffle grid sections is suspended above a surface of the indoor pickleball court, wherein the surface of the indoor pickleball court includes an outer perimeter line defining a playing area, wherein the plurality of baffle grid sections is suspended entirely within the outer perimeter line of the playing area, wherein the plurality of noise baffle grid sections is suspended between about 18 feet and about 20 feet above the surface of the indoor pickleball court, and wherein each of the plurality of noise baffle grid sections are comprised of interlocking panels.

13 . The noise reducing baffle system of claim 12 , wherein the plurality of baffle grid sections includes 15 baffle grid sections.

14 . The noise reducing baffle system of claim 12 , wherein the plurality of baffle grid sections includes a first baffle grid section, a second baffle grid section, and a third baffle grid section, and
wherein the third baffle grid section is positioned between the first baffle grid section and the second baffle grid section.

15 . The noise reducing baffle system of claim 14 , wherein the first baffle grid section, the second baffle grid section, and the third baffle grid section are different than each other.

16 . The noise reducing baffle system of claim 15 , wherein the third baffle grid section is smaller than the first baffle grid section and the second baffle grid section.

17 . The noise reducing baffle system of claim 15 , wherein the plurality of baffle grid sections further includes a fourth baffle grid section, a fifth baffle grid section, and a sixth baffle grid section.

18 . The noise reducing baffle system of claim 17 , wherein the fourth baffle grid section, the fifth baffle grid section, and the sixth baffle grid section are different from each other and from each of the first baffle grid section, the second baffle grid section, and the third baffle grid section.

19 . The noise reducing baffle system of claim 12 , wherein the plurality of baffle grid sections do not include a metal support structure.
