Abstract

The embodied invention is an organized way of storing and transporting a net that is used in a field sport, like soccer or volleyball, where the net corners include connecting tabs inside the storage bag. The net is then stored by a combination of folding and rolling the net, and then pulling the storage bag inside out and around the sporting net. When taking the net out of the bag, the net is pulled out of the other end of the bag, and the labeled corners are readily identified by the clips with labels. The net is then more easily unfolded into the correct shape and orientation without entanglements, and facilitates a quick and easy net installation.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A system for storing a soccer net in an organized manner, the system comprising:
 a soccer net and an invertible storage bag for storing the soccer net, the storage bag having a first opening at one end; at least four net connectors that are individually labeled, each net connector coupled to one corner of the soccer net; and bag connectors coupled to the storage bag at an end opposite the first opening, the bag connectors individually labeled to match the labels of the net connectors, wherein:
 the bag connectors are releasably coupleable to the net connectors having matching labels when the storage bag is in an inside out condition; and
 the soccer net is storable in an untangled state inside the storage bag in response to coupling the bag connectors to the net connectors prior to inverting the storage bag, by use of the first opening, around the soccer net.

         2 . The system of claim 1 , wherein the soccer net is removable from the storage bag while remaining in the untangled state.

         3 . The system of claim 2 , wherein the storage bag comprises a second opening at the end opposite the first opening.

         4 . The system of claim 3 , wherein the bag connectors are coupled adjacent the second opening.

         5 . The system of claim 4 , wherein the soccer net is removable from the storage bag through the second opening.

         6 . The system of claim 5 , wherein the soccer net is removed from the storage bag one corner at a time in response to decoupling each net connector from each bag connector one at a time.

         7 . A method of storing a soccer net in a storage bag comprising:
 providing:
 a soccer net and an invertible storage bag for storing the soccer net, the storage bag having a first opening at one end;
 at least four net connectors that are individually labeled, each net connector coupled to one corner of the soccer net; and
 bag connectors coupled to the storage bag at an end opposite the first opening, the bag connectors individually labeled to match the labels of the net connectors;
   moving the storage bag into an inside out condition; releasably coupling the bag connectors to the net connectors having matching labels; and storing the soccer net in an untangled state inside the storage bag in response to first coupling the bag connectors to the net connectors having matching labels prior to inverting the storage bag, by use of the first opening, around the soccer net.

         8 . The method of claim 7 , further comprising removing the soccer net from the storage bag and maintaining the soccer net in the untangled state.

         9 . The method of claim 8 , wherein the storage bag comprises a second opening at the end opposite the first opening.

         10 . The method of claim 9 , wherein the bag connectors are coupled adjacent the second opening.

         11 . The method of claim 10 , wherein removing the soccer net from the storage bag comprises removing the soccer net from the storage bag through the second opening.

         12 . The method of claim 11 , further comprising removing the soccer net from the storage bag one corner at a time in response to decoupling each net connector from each bag connector one at a time.

         13 . The method of claim 12 , further comprising coupling the soccer net to a soccer goal one corner at a time prior to decoupling the next net connector from the next bag connector.

         14 . A system for storing a soccer net in an organized manner, the system comprising:
 an invertible storage bag for storing a soccer net, the storage bag having a first opening at one end; at least four net connectors that are individually labeled, each net connector configured to couple to one corner of the soccer net; and at least four bag connectors coupled to the storage bag at an end opposite the first opening, the bag connectors individually labeled to match the labels of the net connectors, wherein:
 the bag connectors are releasably coupleable to the net connectors having matching labels when the storage bag is in an inside out condition; and
 the storage bag is configured to store the soccer net in an untangled state inside the storage bag in response to coupling the bag connectors to the net connectors coupled to corners of the soccer net prior to inverting the storage bag, by use of the first opening, around the soccer net.

         15 . The system of claim 14 , wherein the storage bag is configured to maintain the soccer net in the untangled state when removing the soccer net from the storage bag.

         16 . The system of claim 15 , wherein the storage bag comprises a second opening at the end opposite the first opening.

         17 . The system of claim 16 , wherein the bag connectors are coupled adjacent the second opening.

         18 . The system of claim 17 , wherein the second opening is configured for removal of the soccer net through the second opening.
