Upper body exercise device
Abstract
An upper body exercise device has a V-shape configuration which includes a central support member having an upper end and a lower end, the lower end of the central support member having an upturned section consisting of a laterally extending curved hook. A first arm member laterally extends at an angle from the upper end of the central support number, and a second arm member laterally extends at an angle from the upper end of the opposite side of the central support member. The first and second arm members each have outboard second handles rotatably connected to the first handles of each of the arm members. Different weights can be hung down from the curved hook to enhance the versatility of the exercise device.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . An upper body exercise device comprising:
a central support member having an upper end and a lower end, the lower end of the central support member comprising an upturned section; a first arm member laterally extending from the upper end of the central support member, said first arm member having a first handle connected to the end of the arm member and a second handle rotatably connected to the first handle; and a second arm member laterally extending from the upper end of the central support member, said second arm member having a first handle connected to the end of said second arm member and a second handle rotatably connected to said first handle of the second arm member.
2 . The upper body exercise device as in claim 1 wherein the first arm member extends from one side of the upper end of the central support member and the second arm member extends from the opposite side of the upper end of the central support member, such that the central support member and the first and second arm members form the device in a V shaped configuration.
3 . The upper body exercise device as in claim 1 wherein the upturned section is a laterally extending, curved hook.
4 . The upper body exercise device as in claim 1 wherein the upturned section has a through opening.
5 . The upper body exercise device as in claim 3 wherein the hook has a through opening.
6 . The upper body exercise device as in claim 1 wherein the central support member has a V shaped cut out.
7 . The upper body exercise device as in claim 1 wherein the first handle of the first arm member are perpendicular to each other and the first handle of the second arm member are perpendicular to each other.
8 . The upper body exercise device as in claim 1 further comprising a swivel component connected between the first and second handles of the first arm member and a second swivel component connected between the first and second handles of the second arm member.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
