Claims
Abstract
A wallet for a first responder shield, comprising a front sheet having a front slot, a rear sheet having a rear slot in registration with the front slot, the front sheet and the rear sheet secured to one another to form a first pocket therebetween, the first pocket having a top opening, a flap extending from the rear sheet and designed to cover the top opening, and, a fastener operatively arranged to secure the flap to the front sheet to close the first pocket.

a front sheet having a front slot, a rear sheet having a rear slot in registration with said front slot, said front sheet and said rear sheet secured to one another to form a first pocket therebetween, said first pocket having a top opening; a flap extending from the rear sheet and adapted to cover the top opening; and, a fastener operatively arranged to secure said flap to said front sheet to close the first pocket.
2 . The wallet recited in claim 1 wherein the fastener comprises a first magnetic element secured to said flap and a second magnetic element secured to said first sheet.
3 . The wallet recited in claim 2 wherein the first magnetic element is embedded within said flap and the second magnetic element is embedded within said first sheet.
4 . The wallet recited in claim 1 wherein the fastener comprises a hook component and a loop component, where the hook component is secured to a surface of the flap and the loop component is secured to a surface of said first sheet.
5 . The wallet recited in claim 1 wherein the fastener comprises a hook component and a loop component, where the hook component is secured to a surface of the first sheet and the loop component is secured to a surface of said flap.
6 . The wallet recited in claim 1 further comprising a divider operatively arranged to be inserted into said first pocket to create sub-compartments.
7 . The wallet recited in claim 6 wherein said divider comprises a mesh.
8 . The wallet recited in claim 1 wherein the wallet is substantially rectangular in shape, said rectangle has a length and a width, said rectangle has a longitudinal centerline, and said front slot is arranged to be coincident with said longitudinal centerline.
9 . The wallet recited in claim 1 further comprising a belt clip operatively arranged to be secured within said rear slot.
10 . The wallet recited in claim 9 wherein the belt clip is removable.
11 . The wallet recited in claim 9 wherein the belt clip includes a slider adapted to slide vertically along an outer clip portion of the belt clip wherein the belt clip can be configured to accommodate belts of different vertical widths.
12 . The wallet recited in claim 1 wherein the wallet is made from a material in the group consisting of nylon, polyester, and leather.
