Abstract
A slide fastener has a first region in which one width-directional end of a first fastener tape and one width-directional end of a second fastener tape are buckled in an arch shape and brought into close contact with each other when first and second element rows mesh with each other, and second regions in which the one width-directional end of the first fastener tape and the one width-directional end of the second fastener tape are configured to be separated from each other.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A slide fastener comprising:
a pair of first and second fastener tapes each having an elongated shape and having a first main surface and a second main surface opposite to the first main surface; a first element row provided on the first main surface of one width-directional end of the first fastener tape; and a second element row provided on the first main surface of one width-directional end of the second fastener tape, wherein the one width-directional end of the first fastener tape and the one width-directional end of the second fastener tape each have a first region in which the one width-directional end of the first fastener tape and the one width-directional end of the second fastener tape are buckled in an arch shape and brought into close contact with each other when the first and second element rows mesh with each other, and a second region in which the one width-directional end of the first fastener tape and the one width-directional end of the second fastener tape are configured to be separated from each other.
2 . The slide fastener according to claim 1 , wherein
a stopper is attached to the second region.
3 . The slide fastener according to claim 2 , wherein
the stopper is also attached to a longitudinal end of the first region.
4 . The slide fastener according to claim 2 , wherein
the second region includes a region on one side in a longitudinal direction to which the stopper is attached and a region on the other side in the longitudinal direction opposite to the region on the one side in the longitudinal direction with respect to the first region, and a separating insert is attached to the region on the other side in the longitudinal direction of the second region.
5 . A method for manufacturing a slide fastener, the slide fastener including
a pair of first and second fastener tapes each having an elongated shape and having a first main surface and a second main surface opposite to the first main surface, a first element row provided on the first main surface of one width-directional end of the first fastener tape, and a second element row provided on the first main surface of one width-directional end of the second fastener tape, the method comprising: a spacer portion forming step of cutting a part of the first and second element rows to form a spacer portion on the fastener chain, the fastener chain including the pair of first and second fastener tapes and the first and second element rows and in which the one width-directional end of the first fastener tape and the one width-directional end of the second fastener tape are buckled in an arch shape and brought into close contact with each other when the first and second element rows mesh with each other; a tape cutting step of cutting the one width-directional end of the first fastener tape in the spacer portion and the one width-directional end of the second fastener tape to be separated from each other; and a fastener stringer forming step of cutting the fastener chain along a width direction on the spacer portion to form, in the one width-directional end of the first fastener tape and the one width-directional end of the second fastener tape, fastener stringers each having a first region in which the one width-directional end of the first fastener tape and the one width-directional end of the second fastener tape are buckled in an arch shape and brought into close contact with each other when the first and second element rows mesh with each other, and a second region in which the one width-directional end of the first fastener tape and the one width-directional end of the second fastener tape are configured to be separated from each other.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
