Pocket Hoodie

Abstract

The present invention is intended to solve some problems associated with certain popular garments in their conventional construction through improvements to storage capability and material construction. The present invention is directed towards a “hoodie” sweatshirt with additional pocket capacity that allows for state-of-the-art materials that improves storage utility. The invention allows for garments which can operate in varied environments and provide optimal comfort with added convenience.

1 . A garment worn over the torso, the garment comprising:
 a shirt body;   a hood;   one or more upper pockets; and   one or more lower pockets;   wherein
 the one or more upper pockets are attached at the upper torso region for the front surface of the shirt body; 
 the one or more lower pockets are attached at the abdomen region for the front surface of the shirt body; and 
 the hood is attached at the rear neck region of the shirt body. 
   
     
     
         2 . The garment of  claim 1 , wherein at least one of upper pockets are positioned over the left breast region of the shirt body. 
     
     
         3 . The garment of  claim 1 , wherein at least one of upper pockets are positioned over the right breast region of the shirt body. 
     
     
         4 . The garment of  claim 1 , wherein at least one of the lower pockets encompasses the majority of the width for the abdomen region of the shirt body. 
     
     
         5 . The garment of  claim 4 , wherein the at least one lower pocket extends to the abdomen regions on either side of the shirt body. 
     
     
         6 . The garment of  claim 1 , wherein there are at least two lower pockets and at least one of the lower pockets is attached within another lower pocket.
