Cases and card products

Abstract

In the case, the rear surface includes a tear line at its upper end and an upper adhesive margin extending from the tear line. The top surface is formed continuously from the upper end of the front surface and includes a tab extending from the rear-side end, the tab constituting a header. The upper adhesive margin is adhered to the tab. When the case is in a sealed state, separating the rear surface and the upper adhesive margin along the tear line results in: (1) the case being opened in a manner that leaves visible evidence of opening; and (2) after opening, the header functions as a tuck, and the top surface functions as a lid, allowing the case to continue to be used for housing the cards.

1 . A rectangular case with a header for housing playing cards or trading cards that require security, the case comprising:
 a front surface, a rear surface, a right side surface, a left side surface, a top surface, and a bottom surface,   wherein the rear surface includes a tear line at an upper end thereof and an adhesive portion extending from the tear line,   wherein the top surface is formed continuously from an upper end of the front surface and includes a tab extending from an upper end of the rear surface, the tab forming the header,   wherein the adhesive portion is adhered to the top surface or the tab, and   wherein, when the case is in a sealed state, separating the rear surface from the adhesive portion along the tear line:
 (1) leaves evidence of opening, thereby breaking the sealed state of the case, and 
 (2) enables the header to function as an insertion piece and the top surface to function as an openable lid, 
   such that the case remains usable for housing the playing cards or trading cards after opening.   
     
     
         2 . The case according to  claim 1 , wherein the adhesive portion is adhered to a rear surface of the tab, and after opening, the tab and the adhesive portion adhered to each other function as the insertion piece. 
     
     
         3 . The case according to  claim 2 , wherein the adhesive portion is folded back from the upper end of the tab and adhered also to the front surface of the tab. 
     
     
         4 . The case according to  claim 1 , wherein the adhesive portion is adhered to an inner surface of the top surface, and after opening, the top surface and the adhesive portion adhered to each other function as the openable lid. 
     
     
         5 . The case according to  claim 1 , wherein the header includes a hanging hole configured to receive a hanging rod for suspending the case. 
     
     
         6 . The case according to  claim 5 , wherein the tear line has a strength sufficient to prevent separation due to the weight of the case, even when the playing cards or trading cards are housed in the case and the case is suspended. 
     
     
         7 . The case according to  claim 1 , wherein the tear line includes, at a central portion thereof, a convex shape projecting downward on the rear surface, to facilitate tearing by a finger and to facilitate opening and closing of the openable lid. 
     
     
         8 . The case according to  claim 7 , wherein the convex shape projecting downward is a rounded shape. 
     
     
         9 . A card product comprising:
 the case according to  claim 1 ; and   a plurality of the playing cards or the trading cards housed in the case.
