Pickleball paddle structure
Abstract
A pickleball paddle structure includes a paddle body, multiple core blocks mounted in the paddle body, a first surface layer mounted on an upper face of the paddle body, and a second surface layer mounted on a lower face of the paddle body. The paddle body includes a head and a shaft connected and formed integrally. The head has a frame provided with a central slot. The core blocks are mounted in the central slot of the frame. Each of the core blocks includes a ring body having a central hole, a core part mounted in the central hole of the ring body, and two coating layers coated on the ring body. The core blocks are juxtaposed to each other and are arranged to construct a matrix which has an area matching that of the central slot of the frame.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A pickleball paddle structure comprising:
a paddle body; multiple core blocks mounted in the paddle body; a first surface layer mounted on an upper face of the paddle body; and a second surface layer mounted on a lower face of the paddle body; wherein: the paddle body includes a head and a shaft connected and formed integrally; the head has a frame provided with a central slot; the core blocks are mounted in the central slot of the frame of the head; each of the core blocks includes a ring body having a central hole, a core part mounted in the central hole of the ring body, and two coating layers coated on the ring body; the core part of each of the core blocks is a long strip that is wound to form a cylindrical roll; each of the two coating layers has an area more than that of the ring body so that the two coating layers are coated on top and bottom faces of the ring body; the first surface layer is combined with the upper face of the paddle body and forms a first paddle face; the second surface layer is combined with the lower face of the paddle body and forms a second paddle face; the second surface layer is parallel with and opposite to the first surface layer; the core blocks are juxtaposed to each other and are arranged to construct a matrix which has an area matching that of the central slot of the frame; the core blocks are inserted into the central slot of the frame closely and tightly; the core part of each of the core blocks has a central axis with hard rigidity; the core part of each of the core blocks is encircled by the central hole of the ring body and absorbs a transverse vibration force; the core part of each of the core blocks is wrapped by the two coating layers and absorbs a vertical vibration force; the core blocks form an evenly distributed surface structure to reinforce a batting strength, and to provide multiple shock-absorbing effects to the paddle face; and each of the core blocks has an independent shock-absorbing function to absorb the transverse vibration force and the vertical vibration force individually so that the vibration force is absorbed by the paddle face.
2 . The pickleball paddle structure as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the paddle body and the ring body of each of the core blocks are made of soft material of a PU foam.
3 . The pickleball paddle structure as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the core part of each of the core blocks is made of a strip of PU foam having a surface wrapped with a carbon fiber cloth strip.
4 . The pickleball paddle structure as claimed in claim 1 , wherein each of the two coating layers of each of the core blocks, the first surface layer, and the second surface layer are made of carbon fiber cloth.
5 . The pickleball paddle structure as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the frame of the paddle body has a periphery provided with multiple through holes spaced from each other.
6 . The pickleball paddle structure as claimed in claim 5 , further comprising:
multiple auxiliary core blocks mounted in the through holes of the frame respectively.
7 . The pickleball paddle structure as claimed in claim 6 , wherein:
each of the auxiliary core blocks includes a core part inserted into one of the through holes of the frame, and two coating layers coated on upper and lower faces of the core part; the core part of each of the auxiliary core blocks is a long strip that is wound or curled to form a cylindrical roll; and the core part of each of the auxiliary core blocks is made of a strip of PU foam having a surface wrapped with a carbon fiber cloth strip.
8 . The pickleball paddle structure as claimed in claim 1 , wherein:
the shaft is integrally formed with an endpiece; a PU leather is wound around the shaft and the endpiece, to form a handle; a binding jacket is mounted on a connection of the head and the shaft; the endpiece of the shaft is provided with an insertion recess; a circular cover plate is mounted on the insertion recess of the shaft; and the cover plate is made of carbon fiber.
9 . The pickleball paddle structure as claimed in claim 1 , wherein the first surface layer is made of carbon fiber cloth that is coated with epoxy resin and is hot pressed and solidified to form the first paddle face having a hard structure, and the second surface layer is made of carbon fiber cloth that is coated with epoxy resin and is hot pressed and solidified to form the second paddle face having a hard structure.
10 . The pickleball paddle structure as claimed in claim 1 , wherein each of the first surface layer and the second surface layer is coated with various figures and patterns.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
