Abstract
Compact hair dryer comprising: housing ( 30 ) that houses first duct ( 10 ), defined between a first air inlet ( 11 ) and a first air outlet ( 14 ); air driving device ( 40 ) contained in aforementioned first duct ( 10 ) and configured to drive air from the first air inlet ( 11 ) to the first air outlet ( 14 ) generating a first air flow through the first duct ( 10 ); heating device ( 50 ) contained in the first duct ( 10 ) and in contact with the first airflow; characterized in that the housing ( 30 ) houses a second duct ( 20 ) around the first duct ( 10 ), concentric with it, the second duct ( 20 ) being defined between a second air inlet ( 21 ) and a second outlet ( 24 ) of air defined around the first air outlet ( 14 ), generating a second cooling airflow in the second duct ( 20 ) by the suction induced by the first air flow coming out of the first air outlet ( 14 ).

a housing ( 30 ) that houses a first duct ( 10 ), defined between a first air inlet ( 11 ) and a first air outlet ( 14 ); an air driving device ( 40 ) contained in aforementioned first duct ( 10 ) and configured to drive air from the first air inlet ( 11 ) to the first air outlet ( 14 ) generating a first air flow through the first duct ( 10 ); a heating device ( 50 ) contained in the first duct ( 10 ) and in contact with the first air flow; characterized in that the housing ( 30 ) houses a second duct ( 20 ) around the first duct ( 10 ), concentric with it, the second duct ( 20 ) being defined between a second air inlet ( 21 ) and a second air outlet ( 24 ) defined around the first air outlet ( 14 ), generating a second air cooling flow in the second duct ( 20 ) by the suction induced by the first air flow leaving the first air outlet ( 14 ).
2 . The compact hair dryer according to claim 1 , wherein the first duct ( 10 ) is lined internally, at least in the portion that contains the heating device ( 50 ), by a thermal insulation sheet ( 15 ) or by a thermal insulation alumina sheet ( 15 ).
3 . The compact hair dryer according to claim 1 or 2 , wherein the casing ( 30 ) is a tubular casing lacking a handle defined around the first duct ( 10 ) and the second duct ( 20 ).

The compact hair dryer according to claim 3 , wherein the tubular casing includes two annular flanges ( 34 ) protuberant around it, spaced apart from each other, defining between them, around the tubular casing, a winding area intended to wind an electric power supply cable of the hair dryer equipped with a plug at its end.

The compact hair dryer according to claim 4 , wherein at least one of the annular flanges ( 34 ) includes at least one flat region ( 35 ) configured to prevent the compact hair dryer from rolling when supported horizontally on a support, and/or includes at least one clamping configuration ( 36 ) configured to releasably retain a segment of the electrical cable or plug inserted.

The compact hair dryer according to any one of the preceding claims , wherein the first air inlet ( 11 ) is arranged at a first end of the tubular casing ( 30 ) and is surrounded by a plurality of support feet ( 37 ) provided to hold the hair dryer upright on the first end without blocking the first air inlet ( 11 ).
7 . The compact hair dryer according to any one of the preceding claims , wherein the second air inlet ( 21 ) is arranged around the first air inlet ( 11 ), concentric with it.
8 . The compact hair dryer according to any one of the preceding claims , wherein the air driving device ( 40 ) comprises an electric motor ( 41 ) connected to rotating blades ( 42 ) and/or where the heating device ( 50 ) includes electric resistances.
9 . The compact hair dryer according to claim 8 , wherein the electric resistances are arranged around the electric motor ( 41 ).
10 . The compact hair dryer according to any one of the previous claims wherein:
the first duct ( 10 ) comprises an anterior portion ( 12 ), which contains the first air inlet ( 11 ) and at least part of the air driving device ( 40 ), and a posterior portion ( 13 ), which contains the first air outlet ( 14 ) and the heating device ( 50 );
the second duct ( 20 ) comprises an anterior portion ( 22 ), which contains the second air inlet ( 21 ), and which surrounds the anterior portion ( 12 ) of the first duct ( 10 ), and a posterior portion ( 23 ), which contains the second air outlet ( 24 ) and surrounding the posterior portion ( 13 ) of the first duct ( 10 ).

The compact hair dryer according to claim 10 , wherein the housing ( 30 ) is composed of a first housing component ( 31 ), made of a single piece of plastic that constitutes the posterior portion ( 23 ) of the second duct ( 20 ), and of a second housing component ( 32 ), made of a single piece of plastic that constitutes the posterior portion ( 13 ) of the first duct ( 10 ) and the anterior portion ( 22 ) of the second duct ( 20 ) in staggered succession, defining a step between both anterior and posterior portions ( 13 , 22 ) of the first and second ducts ( 10 , 20 ), and including ventilation openings ( 25 ) in the step between both anterior and posterior portions ( 13 , 22 ) of the first and second ducts ( 10 , 20 ) that communicate the anterior ( 22 ) and posterior ( 23 ) portions of the second duct ( 20 ).

The compact hair dryer according to claim 11 , wherein the first and second housing components ( 31 , 32 ) are connected to each other by first protuberant coupling configurations of the first housing component ( 31 ) inserted into second coupling configurations in the form of openings complementary to the first coupling configurations and provided in the step between the anterior and posterior portions ( 13 , 22 ) of the first and second ducts ( 10 , 20 ).
13 . The compact hair dryer according to claim 12 , wherein the first coupling configurations are selected from elastic tabs, tabs with side notches for a bayonet coupling, and/or tabs with a thickening in their inserted portion.
14 . The compact hair dryer according to claim 11, 12 or 13 , wherein the housing ( 30 ) is also composed of a third housing component ( 33 ), made of a single piece of plastic that constitutes the anterior portion ( 12 ) of the first duct ( 10 ).

The compact hair dryer according to any one of the preceding claims 11 to 14 , wherein, between the anterior ( 22 ) and posterior ( 23 ) portion of the second duct ( 20 ), a control selector ( 60 ) is included in the form of a rotating ring that surrounds the housing ( 30 ), configured to activate and/or configure the operation of the compact hair dryer by rotating it.

The compact hair dryer according to claim 15 , wherein the control selector ( 60 ) is integral with the posterior portion ( 23 ) of the second duct ( 20 ), requiring the integral rotation of the control selector and the posterior portion ( 23 ) of the second duct ( 20 ) with respect to the previous portion ( 22 ) of the second duct ( 20 ) to operate and/or configure the operation of the compact hair dryer.

The compact hair dryer according to claim 16 , wherein the control selector ( 60 ) is mechanically connected to a control lever of an electrical switch ( 61 ) fixed to the intrados of the second housing component ( 32 ), within the second duct ( 20 ), so that the rotation of the control selector ( 60 ) with respect to the second housing component ( 32 ), causes the movement of the control lever of the electric switch ( 61 ).

The compact hair dryer according to claim 17 , wherein the control selector ( 60 ) is integral with the first protuberant coupling configurations and where one of aforementioned protuberant coupling configurations has one end mechanically connected to the control lever of the electric switch ( 61 ), providing mechanical connection of the control selector ( 60 ) with the control lever of the electric switch.

The compact hair dryer according to any one of the preceding claims , wherein the first air outlet ( 14 ) includes a magnet or a ferromagnetic element for the magnetic coupling of an air flow directing complement ( 70 ) provided with a magnet or ferromagnetic complementary element.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
