Abstract

A hot tub hammock and chair device is provided. The device is designed to function as both a suspended floating hammock and a reclining lounge chair within a hot tub. The device comprises a buoyant mesh fabric body that extends across the hot tub in hammock mode to suspend a user in a semi-submerged position and folds in half in chair mode to support a user in an upright or reclined position. The device includes adjustable straps with fasteners for modifying tension and positioning, attachment points for secure mounting, and suction cups with locking mechanisms to ensure stability against hydrostatic forces. An optional attachable headrest provides additional support, particularly in chair mode.

. The hot tub hammock and chair device of claim 1 , wherein the buoyant fabric is comprised of a buoyant mesh.

. The hot tub hammock and chair device of claim 1 , wherein the adjustable fastener is comprised of a ratcheting mechanism.

. The hot tub hammock and chair device of claim 1 , wherein the adjustable fastener is comprised of a sliding buckle.

. The hot tub hammock and chair device of claim 1 , wherein the adjustable fastener is comprised of a hook and loop fastener.

. The hot tub hammock and chair device of claim 1 , wherein the adjustable fastener is comprised of a cinching cord lock.

. The hot tub hammock and chair device of claim 1 , wherein the first attachment point is comprised of a loop.

. The hot tub hammock and chair device of claim 1 , wherein the first attachment point is comprised of a hook.

. The hot tub hammock and chair device of claim 1 , wherein the first attachment point is comprised of a clip.

. The hot tub hammock and chair device of claim 1 , wherein the first attachment point is comprised of a reinforced eyelet.

. The hot tub hammock and chair device of claim 1 , wherein the attachment fastener is comprised of a carabiner.

. The hot tub hammock and chair device of claim 1 , wherein the attachment fastener is comprised of a snap hook.

. The hot tub hammock and chair device of claim 1 , wherein the attachment fastener is comprised of a quick-release clasp.

. The hot tub hammock and chair device of claim 1 , wherein the suction cup is comprised of a locking mechanism.

. The hot tub hammock and chair device of claim 14 , wherein the locking mechanism is comprised of a lever-actuated vacuum seal or a rotating pressure lock.

. The hot tub hammock and chair device of claim 1 , wherein the suction cup is comprised of a reusable adhesive suction cup.

. The hot tub hammock and chair device of claim 1 further comprised of a headrest that removably attaches to the body via a fastener.

. The hot tub hammock and chair device of claim 1 further comprised of a neck pillow that removably attaches to the body via a fastener.

. A method of using a hot tub hammock and chair device, the method comprising the following steps:
providing a hot tub hammock and chair device comprised of a body, a strap, an adjustable fastener, an attachment fastener, and a suction cup; securing the suction cup to a top edge of a hot tub; connecting the strap to the one suction cup via the attachment fastener to suspend the body above a surface of water in the hot tub; adjusting a length of the strap via the adjustable fastener to position the body at a desired height relative to the water level; and laying on the body in a semi-submerged position, wherein the body provides buoyant support while maintaining suspension across the hot tub.
