Abstract

It provides a reinforcing bar binding machine capable of surely wrapping and binding a wire to a binding object. The reinforcing bar binding machine includes a magazine in which two wires are housed so as to be drawable, a curl guide unit which winds the arranged wires around the reinforcing bar, by the operation of feeding the parallel wires at the curl guide unit to wind around the reinforcing bar, a wire feeding unit which to wrap around the reinforcing bar with the wires wound around the reinforcing bar, and a binding unit which twists a intersecting portion between one end side and the other end side of the wire wound around the reinforcing bar.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A wire reel configured for use in a binding machine, the binding machine including: a wire feeding unit that is configured to feed two or more wires in parallel with each other; a curl guide that is configured to wind the two or more wires fed from the wire feeding unit in a loop around a binding object; and a binding unit that is configured to grip and twist the two or more wires wound around the binding object to bind the binding object; and a parallel guide positioned at least one of upstream or downstream from the wire feeding unit and configured to restrict movement of the two or more wires such that they are maintained in parallel to each other,
 wherein the wire reel comprises:
a core portion configured to hold the two or more wires; and
a pair of flange portions provided on both sides of the core portion,
wherein the two or more wires are wound around the core portion so as to be arranged in parallel in a direction along an axial direction of the core portion in a drawable manner, wherein the two or more wires have a cross-section configured to pass through the parallel guide of the binding machine.

2 . The wire reel according to claim 1 , wherein the two or more wires include a joint portion where the two or more wires are twisted together, and a non-joint portion where portions of the two or more wires adjacent to one another are movable relative to one another.

3 . The wire reel according to claim 1 , wherein a leading end portion of the two or more wires is arranged differently with each other than other portions of the two or more wires are relative to each other.

4 . The wire reel according to claim 3 , wherein the leading end portion is configured to be first picked up by the binding machine.

         5 . A wire reel comprising:
a core portion; a pair of flange portions provided on both sides of the core portion; and two or more wires wound around the core portion so as to be arranged in parallel in a direction along an axial direction of the core portion in a drawable manner in which the two or more wires are drawable in parallel by a wire feeding unit of a binding unit into a curl guide for forming the two or more wires into a loop around a binding object.

         6 . A wire reel comprising:
a core portion having a rotational axis extending in an axial direction; a pair of flange portions provided on opposite sides of the core portion in the axial direction; and two or more wires wound around the core portion so as to be arranged in parallel along the axial direction of the core portion, the two or more wires including:
 a leading end portion; and
 a body portion,
the leading end portion being disposed closer to one end of the two or more wires than the body portion,
the leading end portion being configured differently than the body portion, and being configured to be drawn, prior to the body portion, by a binding machine into a curl guide for forming the two or more wires into a loop around a binding object.

7 . The wire reel of claim 6 , wherein a cross-section across the two or more wires at the leading end portion is different from a cross-section across the two or more wires at the body portion.

8 . The wire reel of claim 6 , wherein the two or more wires are twisted together at the leading end portion.
