Abstract

A putting alignment device is provided. The device is primarily comprised of an arrow that aligns the preferred direction of putting on the ground surface in front of a golf ball. A top member further extends from the body of the device over the top of the golf ball, providing alignment aid on the surface of the ball. Both the top member and the arrow point in the same direction, providing alignment aid to the surface of the golf ball and the ground in front of the golf ball.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
What is claimed is:

         1 . A putting alignment device comprising:
a front member; a top member; and an arrow.

2 . The putting alignment device of claim 1 , wherein the top member is attached to the front member.

3 . The putting alignment device of claim 1 , wherein the arrow is attached to the front member.

4 . The putting alignment device of claim 1 , wherein the front member is comprised of a plastic material.

5 . The putting alignment device of claim 1 , wherein the top member is comprised of a plastic material.

6 . The putting alignment device of claim 1 , wherein the arrow is comprised of a plastic material.

7 . The putting alignment device of claim 1 , wherein the front member is curved.

8 . The putting alignment device of claim 1 , wherein the top member is curved.

         9 . A putting alignment device comprising:
a front member; a top member attached to and extending from the front member vertically; and an arrow attached to and extending from the front member horizontally.

10 . The putting alignment device of claim 9 , wherein the front member is curved.

11 . The putting alignment device of claim 9 , wherein the top member is curved.

12 . The putting alignment device of claim 9 , wherein the front member is comprised of a plastic material.

13 . The putting alignment device of claim 9 , wherein the top member is comprised of a plastic material.

14 . The putting alignment device of claim 9 , wherein the arrow is comprised of a plastic material.

15 . The putting alignment device of claim 9 , wherein the top member extends from the front member at an angle between 1 and 90 degrees.

16 . The putting alignment device of claim 9 , wherein the top member extends from the front member at an angle between 91 and 180 degrees.

17 . A method of using a putting alignment device, the method comprising the following steps:
providing a putting alignment device comprised of a front member, a top member, and an arrow; placing the putting alignment device on a ground surface in front of a golf ball; rotating the putting alignment device such that the arrow points in the direction of a putting path; and removing the putting alignment device from the ground surface and putting the golf ball along the putting path that was modeled by the arrow.

18 . The method of using a putting alignment device of claim 17 , wherein the front member is curved.

19 . The method of using a putting alignment device of claim 17 , wherein the top member is curved.

20 . The method of using a putting alignment device of claim 17 , wherein the arrow extends from the front member.
