The present invention discloses a pillow configured for supporting a user, featuring an L-shaped design. The pillow includes a head section extending from a first end to a second end, and a base section with middle and lower segments. The lower segment intersects the middle segment at an angle between 145 to 175 degrees, positioning it between the user's legs. The head section may have a width at least 1.5 times greater than the base section and a loft of six inches. The pillow may be filled a blend of memory foam and polyester fiber, and covered with a blend of cotton, spandex, and polyester. 1 . A pillow configured for supporting a user, the pillow comprising:
a head section configured to support the head of the user, the head section extending along a head section axis from a first end to a second end, the head section defining a first side that is adjacent to the head of the user when the user is using the pillow, the head section defining a second side that is oppositely disposed relative to the first side; a base section extending distally from the second end of the head section, the base section comprising a middle section and a lower section; the middle section extending along a middle section axis between a first end distally remote from the head section and a second end proximate to the head section; the lower section extending along a lower section axis from a first end distally remote from the middle section and a second end proximate to the middle section; the pillow extending in a plane defined by the first end of the middle section, the second end of the lower section, and the first end of the lower section; wherein the lower section axis intersects the middle section axis at an angle theta selected to position the lower section between the legs of the user; wherein theta is between 145 degrees and 175 degrees.
2 . The pillow configured for supporting a user of claim 1 , wherein theta is between 150 degrees and 170 degrees.
3 . The pillow configured for supporting a user of claim 2 , wherein theta is between 155 degrees and 165 degrees.
4 . The pillow configured for supporting a user of claim 3 , wherein theta is 160 degrees.
5 . The pillow configured for supporting a user of claim 1 , wherein a greatest width of the head section as determined in the plane of the pillow is at least 1.5 times larger than a greatest width of the base section as determined in the plane of the pillow.
6 . The pillow configured for supporting a user of claim 5 , wherein a greatest width of the head section as determined in the plane of the pillow is at least 2.0 times larger than a greatest width of the base section as determined in the plane of the pillow.
7 . The pillow configured for supporting a user of claim 1 , wherein the head section has six inches of loft as measured from the first side of the head section to the second side of the head section.
8 . The pillow configured for supporting a user of claim 5 , wherein a greatest outer circumference of the head section as measured in a plane perpendicular to the head section axis is at least 1.5 times larger than a greatest outer circumference of the base section as measured in a plane perpendicular to the middle section axis or a plane perpendicular to the lower section axis.
9 . The pillow configured for supporting a user of claim 8 , wherein a greatest outer circumference of the head section as measured in a plane perpendicular to the head section axis is at least 2.0 times larger than a greatest outer circumference of the base section as measured in a plane perpendicular to the middle section axis or a plane perpendicular to the lower section axis.
10 . The pillow configured for supporting a user of claim 8 , wherein the first end of the lower section is at least thirty-six inches from the second end of the head section distally along an axis.
11 . The pillow configured for supporting a user of claim 10 , further comprising a fill.
12 . The pillow configured for supporting a user of claim 11 , the fill comprising memory foam and polyester fiber.
13 . The pillow configured for supporting a user of claim 12 , the fill comprising 75% memory foam and 25% polyester fiber.
14 . The pillow configured for supporting a user of claim 12 , further comprising a cover.
15 . The pillow configured for supporting a user of claim 14 , the cover comprising cotton, spandex, and polyester.
16 . The pillow configured for supporting a user of claim 14 , the cover comprising 37% cotton, 2% spandex, and 61% polyester.
17 . The pillow configured for supporting a user of claim 1 , wherein the head section is ergonomically designed to cradle the user's head and neck, thereby providing enhanced support and comfort.
