Abstract
A suspension system for furniture includes a rail fixable to a wall and having a holding section. The system also includes a furniture body with an top, a bottom, and two side walls connecting the top to the bottom, as well as at least two cabinet hangers fixed to the furniture body, each of which is suspended by a mounting hook from the holding section of the rails, and a fastening element arranged on a top side of the furniture body connected to the rail or formed integrally with the rail. The fastening element is fixed to the furniture body via at least one fastening mechanism.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A suspension system for pieces of furniture, with the suspension system comprising:
a) a rail having a holding section and fixable to a wall; b) a furniture body with an top, a bottom, and two side walls, wherein the two side walls connect the top to the bottom; c) at least two cabinet hangers fixed to the furniture body, each of the at least two cabinet hangers is suspended by a mounting hook from the holding section of the rail); and d) a fastening element arranged on a top side of the furniture body, wherein the fastening element is connected to the rail or is formed integrally with the rail,
wherein the fastening element is fixed to the furniture body by at least one fastening means.
2 . The suspension system of claim 1 , wherein the rail comprises a hook-shaped holding section.
3 . The suspension system of claim 2 , wherein the hook-shaped holding section is arranged below mounting openings in the rail for wall mounting.
4 . The suspension system of claim 1 , wherein the rail comprises an upper horizontal web integrally formed as a fastening element.
5 . The suspension system of claim 4 , wherein the upper horizontal web comprises openings configured to receive the at least one fastening means.
6 . The suspension system of claim 4 , wherein the upper horizontal web extends over an entire length of the rail.
7 . The suspension system of claim 4 , wherein the rail comprises an upper horizontal web to which a separate fastening element is fixed.
8 . The suspension system of claim 7 , wherein the separate fastening element is formed as a web hooked into an opening of the upper horizontal web.
9 . The suspension system of claim 1 , wherein the at least two cabinet hangers each comprise an adjustment mechanism by means of which a height of the mounting hook is adjustable relative to the furniture body.
10 . The suspension system of claim 1 , wherein the at least two cabinet hangers are screwed to a side wall of the furniture body.
11 . The suspension system of claim 1 , wherein the rail comprises a plurality of mounting openings as elongated holes, wherein the elongated holes are aligned with a longitudinal direction of the elongated holes inclined to horizontal.
12 . The suspension system of claim 11 , wherein at least one wall on one long side of the elongated hole comprises an undulating shape to latch the rail to mounting means for wall mounting or comprises projections to latch the rail to the mounting means for wall mounting.
13 . A suspension system for pieces of furniture, the suspension system comprising:
a rail having a holding section and fixable to a wall; a furniture body with an top, a bottom, and two side walls, wherein the two side walls connect the top to the bottom; at least two cabinet hangers fixed to the furniture body, each of which is suspended by a mounting hook from the holding section of the rails, wherein the rail comprises mounting openings configured for wall mounting arranged above the holding section.
14 . A method for mounting a piece of furniture on a wall, the method comprising:
fixing a rail with a holding section to a wall; hooking in at least two cabinet hangers fixed to a furniture body with a mounting hook on the holding section of the rail; arranging a fastening element on a top side of the furniture body, wherein the fastening element is connected to the rail or is formed integrally with the rail); and fixing the fastening element to the furniture body via at least one fastening means.
15 . The method of claim 14 , wherein, after the furniture body has been hooked in, the furniture body is lifted via an adjustment mechanism of the at least two cabinet hangers.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
