Abstract
A storage case for a wearable ring device is provided. The storage case includes a first housing supporting the wearable ring device and including a protrusion configured to allow the wearable ring device to be fitted thereon, and a second housing rotatably connected to the first housing via a hinge. The second housing includes a light-transmissive member having a recess configured to receive the protrusion of the first housing and the wearable ring device in a folded state of the storage case, and a ring-shaped support member coupled to the light-transmissive member so as to have an inclined surface configured to surround the wearable ring device in the folded state of the storage case. The inclined surface of the support member is configured to reflect light so that the wearable ring device is visible through the light-transmissive member of the second housing in the folded state of the storage case.

1 . A storage case for a wearable ring device, the storage case comprising:
a first housing configured to support the wearable ring device, the first housing comprising a protrusion configured to receive the wearable ring device to be fitted thereon; and a second housing rotatably connected to the first housing via a hinge, the second housing comprising:
a light-transmissive member, comprising a light-transmissive material, having a recess configured to receive the protrusion of the first housing and the wearable ring device in a folded state of the storage case, and
a ring-shaped support coupled to the light-transmissive member to have an inclined surface configured to surround the wearable ring device in the folded state of the storage case,
wherein the inclined surface of the support is configured to reflect light so that the wearable ring device is visible through the light-transmissive member of the second housing in the folded state of the storage case.
2 . The storage case of claim 1 , wherein the inclined surface of the support comprises a coating or a deposition layer of a reflective material.
3 . The storage case of claim 1 , wherein the inclined surface of the support is formed by surface polishing.
4 . The storage case of claim 1 , wherein, in the folded state of the storage case, a portion of the light-transmissive member is positioned between the inclined surface of the support and the wearable ring device to face the inclined surface.
5 . The storage case of claim 4 , wherein an air gap is formed between the inclined surface of the support and the portion of the light-transmissive member.
6 . The storage case of claim 1 , wherein the inclined surface of the support corresponds to a rotational surface formed by rotating a straight line on a plane comprising a central axis of the storage case about the central axis in the folded state of the storage case, and
wherein the protrusion is positioned on the central axis and protrudes in a direction parallel to the central axis.
7 . The storage case of claim 6 , wherein the inclined surface forms an angle of 35 degrees to 55 degrees with respect to a protruding direction of the protrusion.
8 . The storage case of claim 1 , wherein the inclined surface of the support corresponds to a rotational curved surface formed by rotating a curved line on a plane comprising a central axis of the storage case about the central axis in the folded state of the storage case, and
wherein the protrusion is positioned on the central axis and protrudes in a direction parallel to the central axis.
9 . The storage case of claim 1 , wherein the light-transmissive member forms a second outer side surface of the second housing,
wherein the support forms a second inner side surface of the second housing configured to be visible through the second outer side surface, wherein the second inner side surface is positioned between the second outer side surface and the inclined surface, and wherein the inclined surface and the second inner side surface form an acute angle or an obtuse angle.
10 . The storage case of claim 9 , wherein the coating or deposition layer of a reflective material that forms the inclined surface of the support extends to the second inner side surface.
11 . The storage case of claim 9 , wherein the first housing comprises:
a first cover facing the second housing in the folded state of the storage case and comprises a plate portion and the protrusion extending from the plate portion; a second cover disposed opposite to the first cover; and a side surface surrounding a space between the first cover and the second cover, wherein the side of the first housing forms a first outer side surface aligned with a second outer side surface of the second housing in the folded state of the storage case, and wherein the side of the first housing comprises a same light-transmissive material as the light-transmissive member of the second housing.
12 . The storage case of claim 11 , wherein the first housing further comprises another support disposed between the first cover and the second cover to be surrounded by the side surface,
wherein the another support forms a first inner side surface of the first housing aligned with the second inner side surface of the second housing in the folded state of the storage case, and the first inner side surface is configured to be visible through the first outer side surface, wherein the coating or deposition layer forming the inclined surface of the support extends to the second inner side surface of the second housing, and wherein the first inner side surface of the first housing is formed by a coating or deposition layer made of the same material as the deposition layer that forms the inclined surface.
13 . The storage case of claim 1 , further comprising:
a plurality of light sources circularly arranged in the first housing and configured to emit light between the wearable ring device and the inclined surface of the support in the folded state of the storage case.
14 . The storage case of claim 13 , wherein the first housing comprises a first cover comprising a plate portion and the protrusion extending from the plate portion, and
wherein the storage case further comprises: a ring-shaped light waveguide disposed between the plurality of light sources and the plate portion of the first cover; and a light-shielding layer disposed in the first cover and comprising a ring-shaped slit between the plate portion of the first cover and the light waveguide.
15 . The storage case of claim 1 , further comprising:
