Arm sleeve and headband device
Abstract
An arm sleeve and headband device includes a pair of sleeves that can each be worn on a respective one of a pair of a user's arms. Each of the pair of sleeves is comprised of a hydrophobic material to inhibit the user's arms from getting wet when the user is washing their face. A pair of first elastomeric bands is each integrated into a respective one of the pair of sleeves for retaining the sleeves on the user's arms. A pair of second elastomeric bands is each integrated into a respective one of the pair of sleeves for retaining the sleeves on the user's arms. A headband is comprised of an elastomeric material which can be worn around the user's head to inhibit the user's hair from getting wet when the user is washing their face.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedI claim:
1 . An arm sleeve and headband device for inhibiting water from running down a user's arms and inhibiting the user's hair from getting wet while the user is washing their face, said device comprising:
a pair of sleeves, each of said pair of sleeves being elongated to a length which is at least equivalent to the length of an average human forearm wherein each of said pair of sleeves is configured to be worn on a respective one of a pair of a user's arms, each of said pair of sleeves being comprised of a hydrophobic material wherein each of said pair of sleeves is configured to inhibit the user's arms from getting wet when the user is washing their face; a pair of first elastomeric bands, each of said pair of first elastomeric bands being integrated into a respective one of said pair of sleeves wherein each of said pair of first elastomeric bands is configured to collapse said pair of sleeves around the respective user's arm for retaining said sleeves on the user's arms; a pair of second elastomeric bands, each of said pair of second elastomeric bands being integrated into a respective one of said pair of sleeves wherein each of said pair of second elastomeric bands is configured to collapse said pair of sleeves around the respective user's arm for retaining said sleeves on the user's arms, each of said pair of second elastomeric bands being positioned on an opposing end of said respective sleeve with respect to said first elastomeric band in said respective sleeve; and a headband being comprised of an elastomeric material wherein said headband is configured to be worn around the user's head at a point located beneath the user's hair line, said headband being comprised of a hydrophilic material wherein said headband is configured to inhibit the user's hair from getting wet when the user is washing their face.
2 . The device according to claim 1 , wherein:
each of said pair of sleeves has a first end and a second end; and each of said pair of sleeves is rolled onto themselves adjacent to said second end having said second end of a respective one of said pair of sleeves being attached to an outer surface of said respective sleeve to define a channel extending around a full circumference of said respective sleeve.
3 . The device according to claim 2 , wherein each of said pair of second elastomeric bands is positioned in said channel defined in said respective sleeve wherein each of said pair of second elastomeric bands is configured to extend around a respective one of the user's arms when said pair of sleeves is worn on the user's arms thereby biasing said pair of sleeves to compress around the respective user's arms to inhibit said pair of sleeves for sliding on the user's respective arm when the user is washing their face.
4 . The device according to claim 1 , wherein:
each of said pair of sleeves has a first end and a second end; and each of said pair of first elastomeric bands extends from a first end of said respective sleeve toward a second end of said respective sleeve such that each of said pair of first elastomeric bands defines a cuff of said respective sleeve wherein each of said pair of first elastomeric bands is configured to extend around a respective one of the user's wrists when said pair of sleeves is worn on the user's arms thereby biasing said pair of sleeves to compress around the respective user's wrist to inhibit water from flowing into said pair of sleeves when the user is washing their face.
5 . An arm sleeve and headband device for inhibiting water from running down a user's arms and inhibiting the user's hair from getting wet while the user is washing their face, said device comprising:
a pair of sleeves, each of said pair of sleeves being elongated to a length which is at least equivalent to the length of an average human forearm wherein each of said pair of sleeves is configured to be worn on a respective one of a pair of a user's arms, each of said pair of sleeves being comprised of a hydrophobic material wherein each of said pair of sleeves is configured to inhibit the user's arms from getting wet when the user is washing their face, each of said pair of sleeves having a first end and a second end, each of said pair of sleeves being rolled onto themselves adjacent to said second end having said second end of a respective one of said pair of sleeves being attached to an outer surface of said respective sleeve to define a channel extending around a full circumference of said respective sleeve; a pair of first elastomeric bands, each of said pair of first elastomeric bands being integrated into a respective one of said pair of sleeves wherein each of said pair of first elastomeric bands is configured to collapse said pair of sleeves around the respective user's arm for retaining said sleeves on the user's arms, each of said pair of first elastomeric bands extending from a first end of said respective sleeve toward a second end of said respective sleeve such that each of said pair of first elastomeric bands defines a cuff of said respective sleeve wherein each of said pair of first elastomeric bands is configured to extend around a respective one of the user's wrists when said pair of sleeves is worn on the user's arms thereby biasing said pair of sleeves to compress around the respective user's wrist to inhibit water from flowing into said pair of sleeves when the user is washing their face; a pair of second elastomeric bands, each of said pair of second elastomeric bands being integrated into a respective one of said pair of sleeves wherein each of said pair of second elastomeric bands is configured to collapse said pair of sleeves around the respective user's arm for retaining said sleeves on the user's arms, each of said pair of second elastomeric bands being positioned in said channel defined in said respective sleeve wherein each of said pair of second elastomeric bands is configured to extend around a respective one of the user's arms when said pair of sleeves is worn on the user's arms thereby biasing said pair of sleeves to compress around the respective user's arms to inhibit said pair of sleeves for sliding on the user's respective arm when the user is washing their face; and a headband being comprised of an elastomeric material wherein said headband is configured to be worn around the user's head at a point located beneath the user's hair line, said headband being comprised of a hydrophilic material wherein said headband is configured to inhibit the user's hair from getting wet when the user is washing their face.
6 . A method of keeping a user's hair and arms dry when the user is washing their face, the steps of the method comprising:
positioning a pair of sleeves around a respective one of a pair of user's arms having each of said pair of sleeves extending from a respective one of the user's wrists toward a respective one of the user's upper arms, each of said pair of sleeves being comprised of a hydrophilic material wherein each of said pair of sleeves is configured to inhibit the user's arms from becoming wet when the user is washing their face, each of said pair of sleeves having a first elastomeric band defining a cuff of a respective sleeve wherein said first elastomeric band is configured to extend around a respective one of the user's wrists, each of said pair of sleeves having a second elastomeric band being integrated into a respective sleeve at an opposing end of said respective sleeve with respect to said first elastomeric band wherein each of said pair of second elastomeric bands is configured to extend around a respective one of the user's upper arms; and positioning a headband around the user's head at a point located below the user's hairline, said headband being comprised of a hydrophilic material wherein said headband is configured to inhibit the user's hair from getting wet when the user is washing their face.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
