Refrigerator comprising fixing part

Abstract

A refrigerator includes: a cabinet having a freezer chamber, and an ice maker provided in the freezer chamber, wherein the ice maker includes a tray for forming an ice chamber, and a case for supporting the tray, the case includes a fixing part to be fixed to walls for forming the freezer chamber or a housing fixed to the walls, and the fixing part includes an inclined surface so that the case forms a slope at the walls or the housing.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . An ice maker comprising:
 a tray defining an ice chamber; and   a case configured to support the tray,   wherein the case comprises:
 a plate configured to fix the tray; and 
 a first extension part extending substantially parallel to the plate in a direction away from the plate, and 
   wherein a first fixing part, that is configured to a fixed part, is provided on the first extension part.   
     
     
         2 . The ice maker of  claim 1 , wherein the first fixing part is recessed from the first extension part to insert a fastening member. 
     
     
         3 . The ice maker of  claim 1 , wherein a hole through which a fastening member is to pass is formed in the first fixing part. 
     
     
         4 . The ice maker of  claim 1 , wherein the case further comprises a second extension part extending in a direction intersecting with a direction in which the first extension part extends from the plate. 
     
     
         5 . The ice maker of  claim 4 , wherein the first extension part extends from the second extension part. 
     
     
         6 . The ice maker of  claim 4 , further comprising a second fixing part, that is configured to the fixed part, is provided on the second extension part. 
     
     
         7 . The ice maker of  claim 6 , wherein the second fixing part hooks the case to the fixed part. 
     
     
         8 . The ice maker of  claim 7 , wherein the second fixing part comprises:
 a first part extending from the second extension part; and   a second part bent once and extended from the first part and configured to hook the case to the fixed part.   
     
     
         9 . The ice maker of  claim 8 , further comprising a third fixing part, and
 wherein the third fixing part comprises:
 a third part extending in a direction in which the second extension part extends; and 
 a fourth part extending from an end of the first part to couple the fixed part. 
   
     
     
         10 . The ice maker of  claim 9 , wherein an end of the third part extends beyond an end of the second extension part. 
     
     
         11 . The ice maker of  claim 4 , wherein the second fixing part comprises:
 a first part extending in a direction in which the second extension part extends; and   a second part extending from an end of the first part to couple the fixed part.   
     
     
         12 . An ice maker comprising:
 a tray defining an ice chamber; and   a case configured to support the tray,   wherein the case comprises:
 a plate configured to fix the tray, and 
 an extension part extending from the plate in a direction substantially perpendicular to the plate, and 
   wherein the extension part comprises a fixing part configured to a fixed part.   
     
     
         13 . The ice maker of  claim 12 , wherein the fixing part comprises a first fixing part, and
 wherein the first fixing part comprises:
 a first part extending from the extension part, and 
 a second part bent once and extended from the first part and configured to hook the case to the fixed part. 
   
     
     
         14 . The ice maker of  claim 13 , wherein the fixing part further comprises a second fixing part,
 wherein the second fixing part comprises:
 a third part extending in a direction in which the extension part extends; and 
 a fourth part extending from an end of the first part to couple the fixed part. 
   
     
     
         15 . The ice maker of  claim 14 , wherein an end of the third part extends beyond an end of the extension part. 
     
     
         16 . The ice maker of  claim 12 , wherein the fixing part comprises:
 a first part extending in a direction in which the extension part extends; and   a second part extending from an end of the first part to couple the fixed part.   
     
     
         17 . A refrigerator comprising the ice maker of  claim 1 , wherein the first fixing part is recessed from the first extension part to insert a fastening member. 
     
     
         18 . The refrigerator of  claim 17 , wherein the case further comprises a second extension part extending in a direction intersecting with a direction in which the first extension part extends from the plate, and
 wherein the ice maker further comprises a second fixing part comprising:
 a first part extending from the second extension part, and 
 a second part bent once and extended from the first part and configured to hook the case to the fixed part. 
   
     
     
         19 . The refrigerator of  claim 17 , wherein the case further comprises a second extension part extending in a direction intersecting with a direction in which the first extension part extends from the plate, and
 wherein the ice maker further comprises a second fixing part comprising:
 a first part extending in a direction in which the second extension part extends, and 
 a second part extending from an end of the first part to couple the fixed part. 
   
     
     
         20 . A refrigerator comprising the ice maker of  claim 12 .
