Bottle Having Removable Base

Abstract

The present application relates to a bottle comprising a reservoir, a first opening on a first end of the bottle providing access to the reservoir, a second opening on a second end of the bottle providing access to the reservoir; and a removable base covering the second opening.

1 . A bottle comprising:
 a reservoir formed by one or more walls, the one or more walls having a first outer circumference;   a first opening on a first end of the bottle providing access to the reservoir;   a second opening on a second end of the bottle providing access to the reservoir;   a groove formed adjacent to the second opening; and   a removable base covering the second opening, the removable base having a flexible lip configured to fit within an engage the groove to secure the removable base to the second end of the bottle.   
     
     
         2 . The bottle of  claim 1  further comprising an ergonomic bottleneck. 
     
     
         3 . The bottle of  claim 1 , wherein the flexible lip comprises a plurality of flexible fingers overmolded to engage the groove. 
     
     
         4 . The bottle of  claim 1  wherein the removable base includes a recessed bottom. 
     
     
         5 . The bottle of  claim 1  wherein the bottle stores at least 750 mL of liquid. 
     
     
         6 . The bottle of  claim 1  wherein the removable base includes a gasket configured to seal the removable base to the reservoir when the flexible lip and the groove are engaged together. 
     
     
         7 . The bottle of  claim 1  further comprising a plurality of finger reliefs formed on the reservoir near the second end of the bottle and above the groove. 
     
     
         8 . The bottle of  claim 7 , wherein the removable base further comprises a protruding lip protruding outward along the edge of the removable base. 
     
     
         9 . The bottle of  claim 1  wherein the removable base further comprises a plurality of feet formed on the underside of the removable base configured to lift a bottom surface of the removable base and the reservoir above a surface on which the bottle is placed. 
     
     
         10 . The bottle of  claim 9  wherein the removable base comprises three feet. 
     
     
         11 . The bottle of  claim 1 , wherein the one or more walls include an internal taper within the reservoir such that a first internal diameter located closer to the first opening is larger than a second internal diameter located closer to the second opening. 
     
     
         12 . A bottle comprising:
 a reservoir formed by one or more walls, the one or more walls having a first outer circumference;   a first opening on a first end of the bottle providing access to the reservoir;   a second opening on a second end of the bottle providing access to the reservoir;   a groove formed adjacent to the second opening;   a removable base covering the second opening, the removable base having a flexible lip configured to fit within an engage the groove to secure the removable base to the second end of the bottle; and   a plurality of finger reliefs formed on the reservoir near the second end of the bottle and above the groove, wherein the removable base further comprises a protruding lip protruding outward along the edge of the removable base.   
     
     
         13 . The bottle of  claim 12  further comprising an ergonomic bottleneck. 
     
     
         14 . The bottle of  claim 12 , wherein the flexible lip comprises a plurality of flexible fingers overmolded to engage the groove. 
     
     
         15 . The bottle of  claim 12  wherein the bottle stores at least 750 mL of liquid. 
     
     
         16 . The bottle of  claim 12  wherein the removable base includes a gasket configured to seal the removable base to the reservoir when the flexible lip and the groove are engaged together. 
     
     
         17 . The bottle of  claim 12  wherein the removable base further comprises a plurality of feet formed on the underside of the removable base configured to lift a bottom surface of the removable base and the reservoir above a surface on which the bottle is placed. 
     
     
         18 . The bottle of  claim 17  wherein the removable base comprises three feet. 
     
     
         19 . The bottle of  claim 12 , wherein the one or more walls include an internal taper within the reservoir such that a first internal diameter located closer to the first opening is larger than a second internal diameter located closer to the second opening. 
     
     
         20 . A bottle comprising:
 a reservoir formed by one or more walls, the one or more walls having a first outer circumference;   a first opening on a first end of the bottle providing access to the reservoir;   a second opening on a second end of the bottle providing access to the reservoir;   a groove formed adjacent to the second opening; and   a removable base covering the second opening, the removable base having a flexible lip configured to fit within an engage the groove to secure the removable base to the second end of the bottle,   
       wherein the one or more walls include an internal taper within the reservoir such that a first internal diameter located closer to the first opening is larger than a second internal diameter located closer to the second opening.
