Abstract
A golf putter can include a shaft; a hosel connected to the shaft; a putter head connected to the hosel, the putter head having a front striking face, the front striking face having a first circular curvature that extends from a top portion of the front striking face to a bottom portion of the front striking face, wherein: the bottom portion of the front striking face and the bottom surface of the putter head form a first angle that is not obtuse; and the top portion of the front striking face and the bottom surface of the putter head form a second angle that is acute.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A golf putter, comprising:
a shaft; a hosel connected to the shaft; a putter head connected to the hosel, the putter head having a front striking face, the front striking face having a first circular curvature that extends from a top portion of the front striking face to a bottom portion of the front striking face, wherein: the bottom portion of the front striking face and the bottom surface of the putter head form a first angle that is not obtuse; and the top portion of the front striking face and the bottom surface of the putter head form a second angle that is acute.
2 . The golf putter of claim 1 , wherein the front striking face has a radius of curvature of approximately 13 to 16 inches.
3 . The golf putter of claim 1 , wherein:
the putter head has a top surface and the bottom surface; the front striking face is positioned between the top surface and the bottom surface of the putter head; the putter head has a first curved edge connecting the top surface of the putter head to the top portion of the front striking face; the putter head has a second curved edge connecting the bottom surface of the putter head to the bottom portion of the front striking face; the first curved edge has a second curvature that is different than the first circular curvature of the front striking face; the second curved edge has a third curvature that is different than the first circular curvature of the front striking face.
4 . The golf putter of claim 1 , wherein the first angle is a right angle.
5 . The golf putter of claim 1 , wherein the bottom portion of the front striking face is generally perpendicular to the bottom surface of the putter head.
6 . The golf putter of claim 1 , wherein:
the front striking face is curved along a vertical direction that is generally perpendicular to the bottom surface of the putter head; the front striking face is not curved along a horizontal direction that is generally perpendicular to the vertical direction.
7 . The golf putter of claim 1 , wherein the front striking face has a height of approximately 1 inch.
8 . A golf putter, comprising:
a shaft; a putter head connected to the shaft, the putter head having a front striking face, the front striking face having a first circular curvature that extends from a top portion of the front striking face to a bottom portion of the front striking face, wherein: the bottom portion of the front striking face and the bottom surface of the putter head form a first angle that is not obtuse; and the top portion of the front striking face and the bottom surface of the putter head form a second angle that is acute.
9 . The golf putter of claim 8 , wherein the front striking face has a radius of curvature of approximately 13 to 16 inches.
10 . The golf putter of claim 8 , wherein:
the putter head has a top surface and the bottom surface; the front striking face is positioned between the top surface and the bottom surface of the putter head; the putter head has a first curved edge connecting the top surface of the putter head to the top portion of the front striking face; the putter head has a second curved edge connecting the bottom surface of the putter head to the bottom portion of the front striking face; the first curved edge has a second curvature that is different than the first circular curvature of the front striking face; the second curved edge has a third curvature that is different than the first circular curvature of the front striking face.
11 . The golf putter of claim 8 , wherein the first angle is a right angle.
12 . The golf putter of claim 8 , wherein the bottom portion of the front striking face is generally perpendicular to the bottom surface of the putter head.
13 . The golf putter of claim 8 , wherein:
the front striking face is curved along a vertical direction that is generally perpendicular to the bottom surface of the putter head; the front striking face is not curved along a horizontal direction that is generally perpendicular to the vertical direction.
14 . The golf putter of claim 8 , wherein the front striking face has a height of approximately 1 inch.
15 . A golf putter, comprising:
a shaft; a hosel connected to the shaft; a putter head connected to the hosel, the putter head having a front striking face, the front striking face having a first circular curvature that extends from a top portion of the front striking face to a bottom portion of the front striking face, wherein: the bottom portion of the front striking face and the bottom surface of the putter head form a first right angle; and the top portion of the front striking face and the bottom surface of the putter head form a second angle that is acute.
16 . The golf putter of claim 1 , wherein the front striking face has a radius of curvature of approximately 13 to 16 inches.
18 . The golf putter of claim 1 , wherein:
the front striking face is curved along a vertical direction that is generally perpendicular to the bottom surface of the putter head; the front striking face is not curved along a horizontal direction that is generally perpendicular to the vertical direction.
19 . The golf putter of claim 1 , wherein the front striking face has a height of approximately 1 inch.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
