Abstract

An exercise hand weight, in particular a single-handed exercise hand weight, includes a weight body section (20) and a grip section (50) with two lengthwise ends (51, 52), wherein the mass distribution of the exercise hand weight (1) is predetermined such that a center of gravity (S) of the payload of the exercise hand weight (1) lies in the grip section (50). The weight body section (20) is curved in a kidney shape (2) and the weight body section (20) is connected at the inner contour (21) of the kidney shape (2) to the two longitudinal ends (51, 52) of the grip section (50).

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . An exercise hand weight comprising:
 a weight body section; and   a grip section with two lengthwise ends,   wherein a mass distribution of the exercise hand weight is such that a center of gravity of a payload of the exercise hand weight lies in the grip section, and   wherein the weight body section is configured curved in a kidney shape and the weight body section is connected at an inner contour of the kidney shape to the two lengthwise ends of the grip section.   
     
     
         2 . An exercise hand weight according to  claim 1 , wherein the center of gravity lies in a middle plane of the grip section. 
     
     
         3 . An exercise hand weight according to  claim 1 , wherein the weight body section and/or the grip section is rigid. 
     
     
         4 . An exercise hand weight according to  claim 1 , wherein the weight body section comprises a base body. 
     
     
         5 . An exercise hand weight according to  claim 1 , wherein the weight body section further comprises at least one additional weight. 
     
     
         6 . An exercise hand weight according to  claim 1 , further comprising a first expansion interface, which is arranged on the weight body section and/or on the grip section. 
     
     
         7 . An exercise hand weight according to  claim 5 , further comprising:
 a first expansion interface, which is arranged on the weight body section and/or on the grip section; and   a connection means for fixedly or detachably attaching the at least one additional weight to the exercise hand weight, connection means comprising:   a screw connection; and/or   a clamping configuration; and/or   a magnetic force configuration; and/or   a welding; and/or   a form-fitting connection; and/or   a force-fitting connection.   
     
     
         8 . An exercise hand weight according to  claim 6 , further comprising a second expansion interface,
 wherein the weight body section further comprises at least one additional weight;   wherein the first expansion interface cooperates with the second expansion interface for affixing the at least one additional weight.   
     
     
         9 . An exercise hand weight according to  claim 1 , wherein the weight body section extends in a base plane which coincides with the middle plane of the grip section. 
     
     
         10 . An exercise hand weight according to  claim 9 , wherein a first direction in the base plane extends along an extension of the grip section and a second direction in the base plane extends crosswise to the first direction. 
     
     
         11 . An exercise hand weight according to  claim 10 ,
 wherein the weight body section comprises a base body;   wherein the base body is configured as a first plate configured curved in a kidney shape,   wherein the curve of the kidney shape extends in the base plane.   
     
     
         12 . An exercise hand weight according to  claim 11 ,
 wherein the weight body section further comprises at least one additional weight   wherein the at least one additional weight is configured as a second plate configured as a plate curved in a kidney shape.   
     
     
         13 . An exercise hand weight according to  claim 12 , wherein the additional weight is orderable and positionable in an offset plane relative to the base plane. 
     
     
         14 . An exercise hand weight according to  claim 9 ,
 wherein the weight body section further comprises a first additional weight that can be ordered and affixed in a first offset plane to one side of the base plane and a further additional weight that can be ordered, positioned and affixed in a second offset plane to the base plane so that the center of gravity of the payload including the additional weights lies in the grip section and/or the base plane and/or the middle plane of the grip section.   
     
     
         15 . An exercise hand weight according to  claim 1 , wherein the kidney shape comprises a middle section and two end sections. 
     
     
         16 . An exercise hand weight according to  claim 15 , wherein the kidney shape encloses an interior space in an arched configuration. 
     
     
         17 . An exercise hand weight according to  claim 16 , wherein the first end section, the middle section and the second end section define three sides of the interior space. 
     
     
         18 . An exercise hand weight according to  claim 1 , wherein borders of the weight body section are rounded. 
     
     
         19 . An exercise hand weight according to  claim 1 , wherein the grip section has an affixing interface at each of the two lengthwise ends. 
     
     
         20 . An exercise hand weight according to  claim 1 , wherein at least one of the affixing interfaces of the grip section comprises a groove and/or a borehole. 
     
     
         21 . An exercise hand weight according to  claim 19 , wherein the weight body section has an affixing interface on an inner contour of the first end section and on an inner contour of the second end section. 
     
     
         22 . An exercise hand weight according to  claim 21 , wherein the affixing interface of the weight body section is formed with a borehole and/or a weld. 
     
     
         23 . An exercise hand weight according to  claim 21 , wherein the grip section and the weight body section are connected or connectable with a detachable connection in a region of the affixing interfaces. 
     
     
         24 . An exercise hand weight according to  claim 23 , a grip section to weight body section connection means for fixedly or detachably connecting the grip section and the weight body section, the grip section to weight body section connection means comprising:
 screw connection; and/or   a clamping; and/or   a weld; and/or   a form-fitting connection; and/or   a force-fitting connection.   
     
     
         25 . An exercise hand weight according to  claim 1 , wherein the grip section and/or the weight body section is made of a metal. 
     
     
         26 . An exercise hand weight according to  claim 1 , wherein the grip section and/or the weight body section has a surface coating. 
     
     
         27 . An exercise hand weight according to  claim 1 , wherein the grip section is configured as a handle configured with a pistol handle form. 
     
     
         28 . An exercise hand weight according to  claim 5 , wherein the at least one additional weight has an additional recess on the inner contour configured as a negative mold for a lengthwise end of the grip section. 
     
     
         29 . An exercise hand weight according to  claim 10 ,
 wherein the kidney shape comprises a middle section and two end sections,   wherein the kidney shape encloses an interior space in an arched configuration, and   wherein the first direction in which the grip section extends is tilted by an angle relative to a gripping direction into the interior space, wherein the angle is 90 to 110 degrees.
