Skin Treatment Applicator Device
Abstract
A skin treatment applicator device includes an elastomeric band which can be extended across a user's back. The elastomeric band is stretchable to such that tension in the elastomeric band enables the elastomeric band to be compressed against the user's back. A block is attached to the elastomeric band and the block is placed against the user's back when the user stretches the elastomeric band across their back. A plurality of bristles is each attached to the block thereby enabling the plurality of bristles to be pressed against the user's back when the user stretches the elastomeric band across their back. Each of the plurality of bristles is comprised of a fluid impermeable material thereby enabling the plurality of bristles to spread a fluid skin treatment across the user's back.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedI claim:
1 . A skin treatment applicator device for enabling a user to apply a skin treatment to their back without assistance, said device comprising:
an elastomeric band having a length being greater than the width of a user's body wherein said elastomeric band is configured to be extended across the user's back, said elastomeric band being stretchable wherein said elastomeric band is configured to reduce stress and fatigue on the user's joints when the user extends said elastomeric band across their back while tension in said elastomeric band enables said elastomeric band to be compressed against the user's back; a block being attached to said elastomeric band, said block being centrally located on said elastomeric band wherein said block is configured to be placed against the user's back when the user stretches said elastomeric band across their back; and a plurality of bristles, each of said plurality of bristles being attached to said block wherein said plurality of bristles is configured to be pressed against the user's back when the user stretches said elastomeric band across their back, each of said plurality of bristles being comprised of a fluid impermeable material wherein each of said plurality of bristles is configured to be exposed to a fluid skin treatment thereby enabling said plurality of bristles to spread the fluid skin treatment across the user's back, each of said plurality of bristles being comprised of a deformable material wherein said plurality of bristles is configured to resist abrading the user's back thereby enhancing comfort for the user when said plurality of bristles is urged across the user's back.
2 . The device according to claim 1 , wherein:
said block has a coupled surface being attached to a front surface of said elastomeric band; said block is centrally located between a first end and a second end of said elastomeric band; said block is centrally located between a top edge of said elastomeric band and a bottom edge of said elastomeric band; said block has an outer edge extending between said coupled surface and an exposed surface of said block.
3 . The device according to claim 2 , wherein:
said outer edge has a lower portion lying on a plane which is oriented perpendicular to said coupled surface; and said outer edge has an upper portion which angles inwardly between said lower portion and said exposed surface such that said exposed surface has a surface area being less than the surface area of said coupled surface.
4 . The device according to claim 2 , wherein:
each of said plurality of bristles has a coupled end which is coupled to said exposed surface of said block; said plurality of bristles is arranged in a plurality of columns and rows on said exposed surface of said block which covers the full surface area of said exposed surface; each of said plurality of bristles has a free end which tapers to a point wherein said plurality of bristles is configured to enhance applying the fluid skin treatment to the skin on the user's back.
5 . A skin treatment applicator device for enabling a user to apply a skin treatment to their back without assistance, said device comprising:
an elastomeric band having a length being greater than the width of a user's body wherein said elastomeric band is configured to be extended across the user's back, said elastomeric band being stretchable wherein said elastomeric band is configured to reduce stress and fatigue on the user's joints when the user extends said elastomeric band across their back while tension in said elastomeric band enables said elastomeric band to be compressed against the user's back; a block being attached to said elastomeric band, said block being centrally located on said elastomeric band wherein said block is configured to be placed against the user's back when the user stretches said elastomeric band across their back, said block having a coupled surface being attached to a front surface of said elastomeric band, said block being centrally located between a first end and a second end of said elastomeric band, said block being centrally located between a top edge of said elastomeric band and a bottom edge of said elastomeric band, said block having an outer edge extending between said coupled surface and an exposed surface of said block, said outer edge having a lower portion lying on a plane being oriented perpendicular to said coupled surface, said outer edge having an upper portion which angles inwardly between said lower portion and said exposed surface such that said exposed surface has a surface area being less than the surface area of said coupled surface; and a plurality of bristles, each of said plurality of bristles being attached to said block wherein said plurality of bristles is configured to be pressed against the user's back when the user stretches said elastomeric band across their back, each of said plurality of bristles being comprised of a fluid impermeable material wherein each of said plurality of bristles is configured to be exposed to a fluid skin treatment thereby enabling said plurality of bristles to spread the fluid skin treatment across the user's back, each of said plurality of bristles being comprised of a deformable material wherein said plurality of bristles is configured to resist abrading the user's back thereby enhancing comfort for the user when said plurality of bristles is urged across the user's back, each of said plurality of bristles having a coupled end which is coupled to said exposed surface of said block, said plurality of bristles being arranged in a plurality of columns and rows on said exposed surface of said block which covers the full surface area of said exposed surface, each of said plurality of bristles having a free end which tapers to a point wherein said plurality of bristles is configured to enhance applying the fluid skin treatment to the skin on the user's back.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
