Tailgate Golf
Abstract
A board tossing game inspired by the game of golf comprising two identical board members, each board member being assigned to one of two players. Each board member is provided with a plurality of through-holes, each through-hole being labeled with a golfing term and being assigned a point value. The board surface and the area surrounding the board are assigned particular point values. The game is played by throwing a set number of tossing bags onto the board or into one of the plurality through-holes disposed on the top target surface of the board member. During the course of the game, points are accumulated by each player either by receiving the assigned point value when a thrown tossing bag falls into one of the through-holes or lands on the board or the area surrounding the board. The objective of the tailgate golf game is to achieve the lowest point score. Scoring may be recorded manually or by electronic scoring means.
