Food Cooling Device
Abstract
A food cooling device is disclosed, which is designed to cool hot meals to reduce the risk of burning the mouth and tongue. The food cooling device comprises a housing component with a cooling element which acts to cool the contents of food and beverage containers placed within the housing component. The housing component comprises multiple dial controls on the front that enables users to set cooling temperatures, timers, choose specific foods to be cooled, etc., to cool down food for an appropriate period of time. Users can place their food and beverage containers inside the housing component, cool them down, and quickly enjoy them, rather than waiting for food/beverages to cool down while sitting at the table.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A food cooling device that provides a user with an appliance for cooling food, the food cooling device comprising:
a housing component; and a cooling element; wherein the cooling element is positioned within the housing component and acts to cool contents of food and beverage containers placed within the housing component; and further wherein users place their food and beverage containers inside the housing component to cool them down quickly, rather than waiting for the contents of the food and beverage containers to cool down while sitting at a table.
2 . The food cooling device of claim 1 , wherein the housing component is configured in a rectangular shape and resembles a conventional toaster oven or microwave.
3 . The food cooling device of claim 2 , wherein the housing component comprises a top surface, a bottom surface, opposing sidewalls, a back wall, and an open front, wherein the open front allows access to an interior cavity of the housing component.
4 . The food cooling device of claim 3 , wherein the open front is closed via a pair of double doors which act to secure the interior cavity and allow a user to maintain an isothermal environment within the interior cavity during use.
5 . The food cooling device of claim 4 , wherein the cooling element is a cooling liquid, a cooling gel, an air condenser, a vent, or a fan.
6 . The food cooling device of claim 5 , wherein an interior of the housing component is insulated.
7 . The food cooling device of claim 6 , wherein the interior cavity includes at least one shelf for holding the food or beverage container.
8 . The food cooling device of claim 7 , wherein the interior cavity comprises a turn-table component that rotates during cooling.
9 . The food cooling device of claim 8 , wherein the housing component comprises multiple dial controls that control the cooling element.
10 . The food cooling device of claim 9 , wherein the multiple dial controls include a temperature control dial to set a specific temperature within the interior cavity.
11 . The food cooling device of claim 10 , wherein the multiple dial controls include a timer that allows the cooling element to run for a predetermined period of time and then shut off.
12 . The food cooling device of claim 11 , wherein the multiple dial controls include a food control dial that allows a user to cool a specific food from a predetermined list of foods.
13 . A food cooling device that provides a user with an appliance for cooling food, the food cooling device comprising:
a housing component comprising a top surface, a bottom surface, opposing sidewalls, a back wall, and an open front, wherein the open front allows access to an interior cavity of the housing component; and a cooling element wherein the cooling element is, but not limited to, a cooling liquid, a cooling gel, an air condenser, a vent, or a fan; and wherein the open front is closed via a pair of double doors which act to secure the interior cavity and allow a user to maintain an isothermal environment within the interior cavity during use; wherein the cooling element is positioned within the housing component and acts to cool contents of food and beverage containers placed within the housing component; wherein the housing component comprises multiple dial controls that control the cooling element; wherein the multiple dial controls include a temperature control dial to set a specific temperature within the interior cavity; wherein the multiple dial controls include a timer that allows the cooling element to run for a predetermined period of time and then shut off; wherein the multiple dial controls include a food control dial that allows a user to cool a specific food from a predetermined list of foods; wherein an interior of the housing component is insulated; and further wherein users place their food and beverage containers inside the housing component to cool them down quickly, rather than waiting for the contents of the food and beverage containers to cool down while sitting at a table.
14 . The food cooling device of claim 13 , wherein the interior cavity includes at least one shelf for holding the food or beverage container and a turn-table component that rotates during cooling.
15 . The food cooling device of claim 13 , wherein the housing component comprises a power cord which is plugged into a power outlet to power cooling functions.
16 . The food cooling device of claim 13 , wherein the housing component comprises a battery and a charging port to power cooling functions.
17 . The food cooling device of claim 13 , wherein the food cooling device can be controlled by a mobile application that is installed on a smart device.
18 . The food cooling device of claim 17 , wherein the food cooling device includes a wireless communications module which would allow the food cooling device to pair with the mobile application on the smart device.
19 . The food cooling device of claim 13 further comprising a plurality of indicia.
20 . A method of cooling food quickly and efficiently, the method comprising the following steps:
providing a food cooling device comprising a housing component with a cooling element; placing a food or beverage container to be cooled into the housing component; setting the dial controls to a specific temperature or timer; shutting the doors and cooling the contents of the food or beverage container; and enjoying the food or beverage quickly without waiting for it to cool down.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
