Abstract

A head for manufacturing a flexible tube having a main axis is configured to contain a liquid or pasty product. The head includes an upper wall and an annular side wall, a free lower end edge of which defines a reference plane (A). The head includes a dispensing orifice. The lower end edge includes a projecting or recessed mark for angular indexing about the axis (X), a portion of which is axially offset relative to the plane.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A tube comprising:
a tube head; and a flexible sleeve, the head having a main axis intended to contain a liquid or pasty product, comprising an upper wall and an annular side wall, a free lower end edge of which defines a reference plane (A), said head comprising a dispensing orifice, the lower end edge comprising a single projecting or recessed mark for angular indexing about the axis (X), a portion of which is offset axially relative to the plane (A) to enable the angular position of the head to be identified in a unique manner about its axis (X), the tube wherein a lower end portion of the tube head is inserted within the flexible sleeve such that the mark is concealed within the sleeve.

2 . The tube according to claim 1 , wherein the mark is formed by a notch made in the lower end edge of the annular side wall, a bottom of the notch forming the portion which is offset axially upwards with respect to the reference plane (A).

3 . The tube according to claim 2 , wherein the notch forming the mark has an axial height of the order of a millimetre.

4 . The tube according to claim 2 , wherein the notch forming the mark has a width of the order of a millimetre.

5 . The tube according to claim 2 , wherein the notch forming the mark has a generally rectangular shape.

6 . The tube according to claim 1 , wherein at least the mark is formed by a finger which extends the annular side wall axially downwards below the reference plane (A), the lower end of the finger forming the portion which is offset axially downwards with respect to the reference plane (A).

7 . The tube according to claim 6 , wherein the finger forming the mark has an axial height of the order of a millimetre.

8 . The tube according to claim 6 , wherein the finger forming the mark has a width of the order of a millimetre.

9 . The tube according to claim 6 , wherein the finger forming the mark has a generally rectangular shape.

10 . The tube according to claim 1 , wherein the diameter of the tube head is between 20 and 60 mm, in particular between 30 and 50 mm.

11 . The tube according to claim 1 , wherein the sleeve is fixed directly to the tube head.

12 . The tube according to claim 11 , wherein said tube comprising at least 50% by mass of paper.
