Combination versatile seat attachment device and usb power port

Abstract

A Versatile Seat attachment Device (VSD) having a base, a base receiver, and an engagement button, and mounted on an article of furniture providing seating. A tray is supportable by the base, the tray supporting articles such as drinking glasses or snacks, in convenient reach of a person using the seating. The VSD removed and disposed in storage when the VSD is not in use. The VSD is versatile in location, adjustable in height and may be adjustably positioned relative to the seating; and is simple and durable in construction, economical to manufacture, and neat and attractive in appearance. The base having a USB port to charge personal devices.

I claim: 
     
         1 . A Versatile Seat attachment Device (VSD) comprising:
 a base receiver;   a base including:
 an engagement button on the base to lock and unlock the base from the base receiver; 
 a horizontal part configured to engage the base receiver; and 
 a vertical part including a passage to receive a tray holder; 
   the base receiver attachable to a furniture providing seating; and   the base disengageably engagable to the base receiver to hold the base to the furniture.   
     
     
         2 . The VSD of  claim 1 , wherein the base receiver includes a power source. 
     
     
         3 . The VSD of  claim 1 , wherein the vertical part of the base has a USB port. 
     
     
         4 . The VSD of  claim 1 , wherein the vertical part of the base has a USB C port. 
     
     
         5 . The VSD of  claim 1 , wherein the horizontal part of the base has at least one ball wherein the ball is disengaged from the base receiver when the engagement button is pressed and is engaged with the base receiver when the engagement button released. 
     
     
         6 . The VSD of  claim 1 , wherein the base receiver has a USB power port to receive an AC power adapter. 
     
     
         7 . The VSD of  claim 1 , wherein the base receiver is attachable to the furniture using screws. 
     
     
         8 . A Versatile Seat attachment Device (VSD) comprising:
 a base;   a base receiver;   an engagement button on the base to lock and unlock the base from the base receiver; and   a power source;   the base further having:
 a horizontal part; and 
 a vertical part;
 the vertical part further having;
 a chamber to receive a tray holder; and 
 a USB port to charge personal devices; 
 
 
   the base receiver detachably attaches to a furniture providing seating; and   the base engages the base receiver to firmly hold the base to the chair.   
     
     
         9 . The VSD of  claim 8 , wherein the vertical part of the base has a USB C port. 
     
     
         10 . The VSD of  claim 8 , wherein the horizontal part of the base has a ball wherein the ball is disengaged from the base receiver when the engagement button is pressed. 
     
     
         11 . The VSD of  claim 8 , wherein the base receiver has a USB power port to receive an AC power adapter. 
     
     
         12 . The VSD of  claim 8 , wherein the base receiver is attached to a furniture having a seat using screws. 
     
     
         13 . A Versatile Seat attachment Device (VSD) comprising:
 a base;   a base receiver;   an engagement button on the base to lock and unlock the base from the base receiver; and   a power source;   the base further having:
 a USB port to charge personal devices; 
   the base receiver detachably attaches to a furniture providing seating; and   the base engages the base receiver to firmly hold the base to the chair.   
     
     
         14 . The VSD of  claim 13 , wherein the base has a USB C port. 
     
     
         15 . The VSD of  claim 13 , wherein the base has a ball wherein the ball is engaged and disengaged from the base receiver when the engagement button is pressed. 
     
     
         16 . The VSD of  claim 13 , wherein the base receiver has a USB power port to receive an AC power adapter. 
     
     
         17 . The VSD of  claim 13 , wherein the base receiver is attached to a furniture having a seat using screws.
