Foldable Table with Telescopic Legs

Abstract

The invention relates to a table comprising at least one work surface and at least two legs ( 300 ) bearing the work surface. According to the invention, the legs are telescopic such that the table is adjustable between a bottom position and a top position, the table comprising at least one first handle ( 200 ) bearing at least a first one of the legs ( 300 ) and at least one second handle bearing at least a second one of the legs, the handles being mounted pivotably relative to the surface about first axes (B) such that the legs may be moved, when the table is in the bottom position, between a rest position in which the legs are arranged along the work surface and a service position in which the legs are offset from the work surface.

1 . A table comprising:
 at least one work surface;   at least two legs bearing the work surface;   at least one first handle coupled to at least a first one of the legs; and   at least one second handle coupled to at least a second one of the legs, the first and second handles being pivotably mounted relative to the work surface about a first axis and a second axis, respectively, such that the legs may be moved, between a rest position in which the legs are arranged along the work surface and a service position in which the legs are offset from the work surface.   
     
     
         2 . The table of  claim 1 , wherein the work surface comprises at least two tabletops pivotable relative to one another along a third axis so as to be able to fold the work surface when the legs are in their resting position, the table being adjustable between a folded state in which the work surface is folded and the legs are in the resting position and an unfolded state in which the work surface is unfolded and the legs are in the service position. 
     
     
         3 . The table  claim 2 , wherein the first axis, the second axis, and the third axis are parallel to one another. 
     
     
         4 . The table of  claim 2 , further comprising:
 a temporary closure system to at least temporarily secure the table in the folded state.   
     
     
         5 . The table of  claim 2 , wherein the table is shaped such that in its folded state it may be stored in a backpack or a bag. 
     
     
         6 . The table of  claim 1 , wherein the first and second axes are at the work surface. 
     
     
         7 . The table of  claim 6 , wherein the work surface is connected to the first and second handles and the work surface includes a notch on at least one of its sides. 
     
     
         8 . The table of  claim 6 , wherein at least one of the first and second handles includes an actuator configured to allow retraction of at least one of the legs. 
     
     
         9 . The table of  claim 6 , wherein the table comprises a locking mechanism that limits the rotation of at least one of the first and second handles. 
     
     
         10 . The table of  claim 1 , wherein at least one of the legs comprises a pair of uprights and at least one crossbar connecting the pair of uprights. 
     
     
         11 . The table of  claim 1 , wherein at least one of the legs comprises a pair of uprights, at least one of the uprights comprising at least one hole and at least one of the uprights bears a lug capable of engaging the hole to fix a position of the keep both uprights relative to one another. 
     
     
         12 . The table of  claim 1 , wherein at least one of the legs is coupled to a foot assembly comprising a base element and at least one strut movably mounted on the base element, the strut movable between a folded position and an extended position. 
     
     
         13 . The table of  claim 12 , wherein the strut is rotatable relative to the base element. 
     
     
         14 . The table of  claim 1 , further comprising:
 a stabilisation system.   
     
     
         15 . The table of  claim 1 , wherein the work surface is movable between a top position and a bottom position and the legs are configured to adjust a height of the work surface at various intermediate levels between the bottom and top positions.
