Abstract

The present invention relates to a height-adjustable golf tee. According to the height-adjustable golf tee disclosed herein, a fixing member, a main body member, and a height-maintaining member are provided, and accordingly, the height of the main body member may be adjusted only with a simple manipulation of varying the height of the main body member with respect to the fixing member by transferring an external force. Even when the impact of a tee shot is transferred to the main body member, as well as a case in which the external force is removed, the impact can be buffered via the height-maintaining member and the adjusted height of the main body member can be maintained.

Claims

exact text as granted — not AI-modified
1 . A height-adjustable golf tee comprising:
a fixing member having a predetermined length in a vertical direction and inserted into a ground so that a position thereof is fixed; a main body member slidably connected to the fixing member so as to protrude from the fixing member in a longitudinal direction of the fixing member or to be retracted into the fixing member; and a height maintenance member provided at an end portion of the main body member, formed of an elastic material, and configured to maintain an adjusted height of the main body member in a state where a height of the main body member with respect to the fixing member is adjusted by varying the height of the main body member connected to the fixing member, wherein in a state where the main body member is connected to the fixing member, the height of the main body member with respect to the fixing member is varied by an external force to adjust the height of the main body member to a required height, and when the external force is removed in a state where the height of the main body member is adjusted, the adjusted height of the main body member is maintained by the height maintenance member.

2 . The height-adjustable golf tee of claim 1 , wherein the fixing member includes:
a fixing body having a predetermined length with a lower portion formed in a shape that is gradually sharpened outward; a ground seating portion provided at an upper end of the fixing body and extending laterally outward of the fixing member; and a connection hole recessed inward from a central portion of an upper surface of the fixing body by a predetermined depth, wherein the main body member includes: a main body having a predetermined length and inserted into the connection hole; a golf ball seating portion provided at an upper end of the main body and extending laterally outward of the main body so that a golf ball is seated thereon; and a main body-side central hole formed through a central portion of the main body in a longitudinal direction of the main body, wherein the height maintenance member includes: a height maintenance body coupled to an opposite end portion of the main body, which is in a direction opposite to the golf ball seating portion formed at one end portion of the main body; an elastic protrusion body protruding laterally outward from an outer circumferential surface of the height maintenance body, and making contact with an inner surface of the connection hole when the main body is inserted into the connection hole; and a height maintenance-side central hole formed through a central portion of the height maintenance body in the longitudinal direction of the main body, and wherein the main body is slid by an external force after being inserted into the fixing member, the height of the main body member with respect to the fixing member is varied as air, which is present in the connection hole serving as an internal space of the fixing member, is discharged to an outside through the height maintenance-side central hole and the main body-side central hole, and in a state where the height of the main body member with respect to the fixing member is varied, a position of the main body member with respect to the fixing member is maintained due to a frictional force between the inner surface of the connection hole and the elastic protrusion body.

3 . The height-adjustable golf tee of claim 2 , wherein the fixing member is formed with a reflection portion which connects an upper surface of the ground seating portion and an inner circumferential surface of the connection hole to each other, and is inclined in a form that gradually converges from the upper surface of the ground seating portion toward an inside of the connection hole,
wherein the main body constituting the main body member is formed with a height checking indicator that enables checking of a height, and wherein the adjusted height of the main body member with respect to the fixing member is checked through an image of the height checking indicator reflected on the reflection portion.

4 . The height-adjustable golf tee of claim 2 , wherein the fixing member includes a direction guide protrusion protruding from the ground seating portion by a predetermined length to guide a trajectory direction of the golf ball.

5 . The height-adjustable golf tee of claim 3 , further comprising an expansion and pressurization member configured to pressurize the inner circumferential surface of the connection hole while being expanded due to an external force applied to an upper end of the main body member,
wherein the expansion and pressurization member includes: an air accommodation body disposed at an upper end of the golf ball seating portion, formed therein with a space for accommodating air, and having an open lower portion; an air flow tube inserted into the height maintenance body and having an inside communicating with the height maintenance-side central hole; an expansion body coupled to an end of the air flow tube, which is relatively close to an outer side of the height maintenance body, and formed of an elastic material; and an expansion body accommodation groove recessed by a predetermined depth from the outer side of the height maintenance body such that the expansion body is accommodated therein, wherein when the main body member connected to the fixing member is slid so that the height thereof is varied to adjust the height to a required height with respect to the fixing member, and the air accommodation body is connected to the upper end of the golf ball seating portion, the height maintenance member makes close contact with the inner circumferential surface of the connection hole so that the main body-side central hole, the height maintenance-side central hole, and an inner space of the connection hole, which communicate with each other, are sealed, thereby primarily maintaining the adjusted height of the main member body with respect to the fixing member, and wherein when the height of the main body member with respect to the fixing member is adjusted, and the air accommodation body is pressed by the external force in a state where the air accommodation body is connected, the air inside the air accommodation body is introduced into the expansion body through the main body-side central hole, the height maintenance-side central hole, and the air flow tube, and the expansion body is expanded from the expansion body accommodation groove by the air introduced into the expansion body to pressurize the inner circumferential surface of the connection hole, so that a frictional force is generated between the expansion body and the inner circumferential surface of the connection hole, thereby secondarily maintaining the adjusted height of the main body member with respect to the fixing member by the frictional force generated between the expansion body and the inner circumferential surface of the connection hole.
