Paint brush
Abstract
A paint brush that is configured to be suspendedly mounted within the interior volume of a paint can. The invention includes a handle member wherein the handle member has a crimp member and bristle members secured to a second end of the handle member. The handle member includes a pry member formed on the first end thereof. An upper indentation is formed into the handle member proximate the first end. A lower indentation is formed in the crimp member. The lower indentation includes a void that is angular in orientation wherein the void is accessed by an opening present in the lateral edge of the crimp member. The lateral edge of the crimp member further includes a lip member forming a point proximate the upper end of the opening. The void angles from the lateral edge inwards and upwards towards the center of the crimp member.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat is claimed is:
1 . A paint brush that is configured to be suspendedly mounted within an interior volume of a paint container wherein the paint brush comprises:
a handle member, said handle member being elongated in form, said handle member having a first end and a second end; a crimp member, said crimp member being operably coupled to said second end of said handle member; a bristle group, said bristle group being operably coupled to said crimp member opposite said handle member, said bristle group being comprised of a plurality of bristle members; and a lower indentation, said lower indentation being formed in said crimp member, said lower indentation having a void, said void of said lower indentation accessible with a contiguous opening formed in a lateral edge of said crimp member, said void being oriented in an angular orientation across said crimp member, wherein said void is configured to operably engage a perimeter edge proximate an opening of the paint container.
2 . The paint brush that is configured to be suspendedly mounted within an interior volume of a paint container as recited in claim 1 , wherein said void is oriented in an angular manner in said crimp member from the lateral edge inwards and upwards towards a center of the crimp member.
3 . The paint brush that is configured to be suspendedly mounted within an interior volume of a paint container as recited in claim 2 , wherein the lateral edge further includes a lip member forming a point, said lip member being proximate an upper end of said opening.
4 . The paint brush that is configured to be suspendedly mounted within an interior volume of a paint container as recited in claim 3 , and further including a pry member, said pry member being integrally formed with said first end of said handle member, said pry member being flat and plananr in manner having a leading edge capable of engaging a lid to the paint container.
5 . The paint brush that is configured to be suspendedly mounted within an interior volume of a paint container as recited in claim 4 , and further including an upper indentation, said upper indentation formed in said handle member proximate said first end thereof, said upper indentation having a void with an opening providing access thereto.
6 . The paint brush that is configured to be suspendedly mounted within an interior volume of a paint container as recited in claim 5 , wherein the void of said upper indentation is oriented in an angular manner upwards an inwards towards a centerline of said handle member.
7 . The paint brush that is configured to be suspendedly mounted within an interior volume of a paint container as recited in claim 6 , wherein said pry member is manufactured from a different material than said handle member.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
