On/off interchangeable makeup brush system

Abstract

An apparatus to apply facial makeup is disclosed. The apparatus may include a handle, a magnetic switchable device, and a brush head. The handle may include a handle top portion and a handle bottom portion. The magnetic switchable device may be disposed at the handle top portion. The brush head may be removably attached to the handle top portion. The brush head may include a brush head top portion and a brush head bottom portion. The brush head top portion may include a plurality of bristles. The brush head bottom portion may include a ferrous material configured to magnetically couple to the magnetic switchable device.

That which is claimed is: 
     
         1 . An apparatus comprising:
 a handle comprising a handle top portion and a handle bottom portion;   a magnetic switchable device disposed at the handle top portion; and   a brush head removably attached to the handle top portion, wherein:
 the brush head comprises a brush head top portion and a brush head bottom portion; 
 the brush head top portion comprises a plurality of bristles; and 
 the brush head bottom portion comprises a ferrous material configured to magnetically couple to the magnetic switchable device. 
   
     
     
         2 . The apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the ferrous material comprises a metal disc. 
     
     
         3 . The apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the magnetic switchable device comprises a top plate and a bottom plate. 
     
     
         4 . The apparatus of  claim 3 , wherein the top plate is identical to the bottom plate. 
     
     
         5 . The apparatus of  claim 3 , wherein each of the top plate and the bottom plate comprises a plurality of recesses, and wherein each recess is configured to receive a magnet keeper. 
     
     
         6 . The apparatus of  claim 5 , wherein each of the top plate and the bottom plate comprises a plurality of slots, wherein each slot is configured to receive a magnet. 
     
     
         7 . The apparatus of  claim 6 , wherein each slot is disposed between adjacent recesses and interconnects the adjacent recesses. 
     
     
         8 . The apparatus of  claim 6 , wherein each of the top plate and the bottom plate is a circular plate. 
     
     
         9 . The apparatus of  claim 8 , wherein the plurality of recesses is disposed in proximity to a circumference of the circular plate. 
     
     
         10 . The apparatus of  claim 8 , wherein each recess is hexagonal in shape. 
     
     
         11 . The apparatus of  claim 1  further comprising a lever configured to mechanically activate or deactivate a magnetic state associated with the magnetic switchable device. 
     
     
         12 . The apparatus of  claim 11 , wherein the lever is disposed at the handle. 
     
     
         13 . The apparatus of  claim 1  further comprising a control system configured to activate or deactivate a magnetic state associated with the magnetic switchable device. 
     
     
         14 . The apparatus of  claim 13 , and wherein the control system is disposed inside the handle. 
     
     
         15 . The apparatus of  claim 13  further comprising a battery configured to supply power to the magnetic switchable device. 
     
     
         16 . The apparatus of  claim 15  further comprising a button disposed at the handle, wherein the button is configured receive user inputs, and wherein the control system is configured to:
 receive a trigger signal from the button when the button receives the user inputs; and 
 transmit an actuation signal to the battery responsive to receiving the trigger signal. 
 
     
     
         17 . The apparatus of  claim 16 , wherein the battery is configured to supply the power to the magnetic switchable device responsive to receiving the actuation signal. 
     
     
         18 . The apparatus of  claim 1 , wherein the handle comprises a dispensing mechanism to dispense facial cream out of the brush head. 
     
     
         19 . An apparatus comprising:
 a handle comprising a handle top portion and a handle bottom portion;   a magnetic switchable device disposed at the handle top portion; and   a brush head removably attached to the handle top portion, wherein:
 the brush head comprises a brush head top portion and a brush head bottom portion; 
 the brush head top portion comprises a plurality of bristles; and 
 the brush head bottom portion comprises a ferrous material configured to magnetically couple to the magnetic switchable device, wherein the ferrous material comprises a metal disc. 
   
     
     
         20 . An apparatus comprising:
 a handle comprising a handle top portion and a handle bottom portion;   a magnetic switchable device disposed at the handle top portion, wherein the magnetic switchable device comprises a top plate and a bottom plate, wherein each of the top plate and the bottom plate comprises a plurality of magnets and a plurality of magnet keepers; and   a brush head removably attached to the handle top portion, wherein:
 the brush head comprises a brush head top portion and a brush head bottom portion; 
 the brush head top portion comprises a plurality of bristles; and 
 the brush head bottom portion comprises a ferrous material configured to magnetically couple to the magnetic switchable device.
