Abstract
Systems involve implementations such as a case system including (I) a front assembly including (A) a first side, (B) a second side extending perpendicular with respect to the first side, (C) a third side extending parallel with respect to the first side, (D) a fourth side extending parallel with the respect to the second side, and (E) a base extending perpendicular to and having an interior extending between the first side, the second side, the third side, and the fourth side, wherein the base includes a first portion having a thermal conductivity of at least 30 watts/meter-Kelvin, and wherein the first portion of the base includes at least 30% of the interior of the base. Other aspects are described in the claims, drawings, and text forming a part of the present disclosure.

1 . A case system for a portable electronic device, the case system couplable with the portable electronic device, the case system comprising:
(I) at least one thermally conductive portion including wherein the portable electronic device is positioned adjacent the at least one thermally conductive portion when the portable electronic device is coupled to the case system; and
(II) at least one air mover coupled with the at least one thermally conductive portion wherein the at least one air mover is positioned to move air adjacent to and parallel with the at least one thermally conductive portion.
2 . The case system of claim 1 ,
wherein the at least one thermally conductive portion includes at least one exterior corrugated fin surface portion.
3 . The case system of claim 2
wherein the at least one air mover includes at least one air outlet, and
wherein the at least one air outlet is positioned to push air in a direction of flow parallel with the at least one exterior corrugated fin surface portion.
4 . The case system of claim 2
wherein the at least one exterior corrugated fin surface portion includes a plurality of fins extending longitudinally.
5 . The case system of claim 4 , further comprising at least one cover plate portion,
wherein the at least one cover plate portion is coupled with at least a portion of the plurality of fins of the at least one exterior corrugated fin surface portion.
6 . The case system of claim 5 ,
wherein the at least one thermally conductive portion includes at least one exterior planar surface portion,
wherein the plurality of the at least one exterior corrugated fin surface portion includes a first end and a second end,
wherein the plurality of fins of the at least one exterior corrugated fin surface portion longitudinally extend between the first end and the second of the at least one exterior corrugated fin surface portion,
wherein the at least one air mover is positioned adjacent to the first end of the at least one exterior corrugated fin surface portion, and
wherein the at least one cover plate portion extends from the first end of the at least one exterior corrugated fin surface portion.
7 . The case system of claim 2 ,
wherein at least one exterior corrugated fin surface portion includes a first end, and
wherein the at least one air mover is positioned adjacent to the first end of the at least one exterior corrugated fin surface portion.
8 . The case system of claim 2 ,
wherein the at least one thermally conductive portion includes at least one exterior planar surface portion.
9 . The case system of claim 8 ,
wherein the at least one air mover is positioned adjacent to the at least one exterior planar surface portion.
10 . The case system of claim 9 ,
wherein the at least one exterior corrugated fin surface portion includes a first end, and
wherein the at least one exterior planar surface portion is positioned adjacent to the first end of the at least one exterior corrugated fin surface portion.
11 . The case system of claim 1 ,
wherein the at least one thermally conductive portion includes at least one exterior planar surface portion, and
wherein the at least one air mover is positioned adjacent to the at least one exterior planar surface portion.
12 . The case system of claim 11 ,
wherein the at least one air mover includes at least one air intake, and
wherein the at least one air intake is positioned to pull air in a direction of flow perpendicular to the at least one exterior planar surface portion.
13 . The case system of claim 1
wherein the at least one air mover is piezoelectric-based.
14 . The case system of claim 1
wherein the at least one air mover includes at least one vibrating-thin-membrane.
15 . A case system for a portable electronic device, the case system couplable with the portable electronic device, the case system comprising:
(I) at least one thermally conductive portion including at least one exterior corrugated fin surface portion wherein the portable electronic device is positioned adjacent the at least one thermally conductive portion when the portable electronic device is coupled to the case system; and
(II) at least one piezoelectric-based air mover coupled with the at least one thermally conductive portion wherein the at least one piezoelectric-based air mover is positioned to move air adjacent to and parallel with the at least one exterior corrugated fin surface portion of the at least one thermally conductive portion.
16 . The case system of claim 15 , further comprising at least one cover plate portion,
wherein the at least one exterior corrugated fin surface portion includes a plurality of fins extending longitudinally, and
wherein the at least one cover plate portion is coupled with at least a portion of the plurality of fins of the at least one exterior corrugated fin surface portion.
17 . The case system of claim 16 ,
wherein the at least one thermally conductive portion includes at least one exterior planar surface portion,
wherein the plurality of the at least one exterior corrugated fin surface portion includes a first end and a second end,
wherein the plurality of fins of the at least one exterior corrugated fin surface portion longitudinally extend between the first end and the second of the at least one exterior corrugated fin surface portion,
wherein the at least one air mover is positioned adjacent to the first end of the at least one exterior corrugated fin surface portion, and
wherein the at least one cover plate portion extends from the first end of the at least one exterior corrugated fin surface portion.
18 . A case system for a portable electronic device, the case system couplable with the portable electronic device, the case system comprising:
(I) at least one thermally conductive portion including at least one exterior planar surface portion wherein the portable electronic device is positioned adjacent the at least one thermally conductive portion when the portable electronic device is coupled to the case system; and
(II) at least one piezoelectric-based air mover coupled with the at least one thermally conductive portion wherein the at least one piezoelectric-based air mover is positioned adjacent the at least one exterior planar surface portion.
19 . The case system of claim 18 ,
wherein the at least one thermally conductive portion includes at least one exterior corrugated fin surface portion,
wherein the at least one exterior corrugated fin surface portion includes a first end, and
wherein the at least one piezoelectric-based air mover is positioned adjacent to the first end of the at least one exterior corrugated fin surface portion.
20 . The case system of claim 19 ,
wherein the at least one piezoelectric-based air mover includes at least one air intake,
wherein the at least one air intake is positioned to pull air in a direction of flow perpendicular to the at least one exterior planar surface portion,
wherein the at least one piezoelectric-based air mover includes at least one air outlet, and
