Accessory for attachment to a pack of wipes

Abstract

This disclosure relates generally to a wipe accessory for attachment to a pack of wipes. The wipe accessory comprises a pouch for receiving a wipe accessory and a first stretchable attachment mechanism connected to the pouch, the first stretchable attachment mechanism for attaching the pouch to the pack of wipes. A second attachment mechanism connected to the pouch may be provided for attaching the pouch to a bag or backpack.

What is claimed: 
     
         1 . A wipe accessory for attachment to a pack of wipes, the wipe accessory comprising:
 a pouch extending between an open top end and a closed bottom end, the pouch for receiving a wipe accessory;   a first stretchable attachment mechanism having a first end connected to the open top end and a second end connected to the closed bottom end of the pouch, the first stretchable attachment mechanism for attaching the pouch to the pack of wipes; and   a second static attachment mechanism connected to the open top end of the pouch, the second static attachment mechanism for attaching the pouch to a bag or backpack.   
     
     
         2 . The wipe accessory of  claim 1 , further comprising the wipe accessory. 
     
     
         3 . The wipe accessory of  claim 1 , wherein the first stretchable attachment mechanism comprises:
 an elastic draw string extending between the first end and the second end; and   a lock disposed along the elastic draw string, the lock for tightening the elastic draw string about the pack of wipes, thereby securing the wipe accessory to the pack of baby wipes.   
     
     
         4 . The wipe accessory of  claim 3 , wherein the first end and the second end of the elastic draw string are sewn to the open top end and the closed bottom end of the pouch, respectively. 
     
     
         5 . The wipe accessory of  claim 3 , wherein the lock comprises a cord lock. 
     
     
         6 . The wipe accessory of  claim 1 , wherein the second static attachment mechanism comprises a clip and a tether for attaching the clip to the open top end of the pouch. 
     
     
         7 . The wipe accessory of  claim 6 , wherein the clip comprises a trigger clip. 
     
     
         8 . The wipe accessory of  claim 6 , wherein the clip comprises a carabiner. 
     
     
         9 . The wipe accessory of  claim 6 , wherein the clip comprises a swivel clip. 
     
     
         10 . The wipe accessory of  claim 6 , wherein the tether comprises a grosgrain ribbon. 
     
     
         11 . The wipe accessory of  claim 1 , wherein the pouch comprises neoprene. 
     
     
         12 . The wipe accessory of  claim 1 , wherein the pouch comprises neoprene and polyester. 
     
     
         13 . A wipe accessory for attachment to a pack of wipes, the wipe accessory comprising:
 a pouch;   a spray bottle received by the pouch;   a first stretchable attachment mechanism secured to the pouch and for attaching the pouch to the pack of wipes;   a second static attachment mechanism secured to the pouch and for attaching the pouch to a bag.   
     
     
         14 . The wipe accessory of  claim 13 , wherein the pouch comprises:
 a body defining an interior for receiving the spray bottle;   an open top end for allowing access to the interior of the body; and   a closed bottom end for holding the spray bottle within the interior of the body.   
     
     
         15 . The wipe accessory of  claim 13 , wherein the first stretchable attachment mechanism comprises:
 an elastic string extending between a first end and a second end, the first end connected to a top end of the pouch and the second end connected to a bottom end of the pouch; and   a lock disposed along the elastic string, the lock for adjusting the elastic string about the pack of wipes, thereby securing the wipe accessory to the pack of wipes.   
     
     
         16 . The wipe accessory of  claim 15 , wherein the lock tightens the elastic string about the pack of wipes, allowing for a single wipe to be pulled from the pack of wipes at a time. 
     
     
         17 . A method of securing an accessory to a pack of wipes, the method comprising:
 placing the accessory within a pouch;   stretching a first attachment mechanism connected to the pouch about the pack of wipes; and   adjusting the first attachment mechanism about the pack of wipes, such that the pouch is secured to the pack of wipes and a single wipe can be pulled from the pack of wipes at a time.   
     
     
         18 . The method of  claim 17 , wherein placing the accessory within a pouch comprises aligning the accessory over an open end of the pouch and pushing the accessory into the pouch. 
     
     
         19 . The method of  claim 17 , wherein adjusting the first attachment mechanism about the pack of wipes comprises:
 sliding a lock along an elastic string; and   selectively tightening the elastic string around the pack of wipes.   
     
     
         20 . The method of  claim 17 , wherein adjusting the first attachment mechanism about the pack of wipes allows the accessory to be continuously secured to the pack of wipes as a size of the pack of wipes diminishes through use of the pack of wipes.
