Abstract

A packaging material web, in particular of paper or cardboard, in particular corrugated cardboard, in which at least one longitudinal edge strip adjoining a longitudinal edge is at least sectionally provided with a cold-sealable adhesive, may include at least one folding joint extending in the web longitudinal direction, in particular arranged centrally with respect to a width dimensioned transversely to the web longitudinal direction, which defines a folding axis along which two longitudinal web sections connected by means of the folding joint can be folded over, wherein the packaging material web is free of cold-sealable adhesive at least sectionally along the folding joint.

1 . A packaging material web comprising:
 at least one longitudinal edge strip adjoining a longitudinal edge, the at least one longitudinal edge strip including, at least sectionally, a cold-sealable adhesive; and   at least one folding joint extending in a web longitudinal direction and arranged centrally with respect to a width dimensioned transversely to the web longitudinal direction, the at least one folding joint defining a folding axis along which two longitudinal web sections connected by the at least one folding joint are configured to be folded over, wherein the packaging material web is free of cold-sealable adhesive at least sectionally along the at least one folding joint.   
     
     
         2 . The packaging material web according to  claim 1 , wherein the at least one folding joint is a singular piece with the two longitudinal web sections and/or is formed as a film hinge. 
     
     
         3 . The packaging material web according to  claim 1 , wherein the at least one folding joint is configured as a material weakening including a perforation-material web row, or as a longitudinal groove. 
     
     
         4 . The packaging material web according to  claim 1 , further comprising a plurality of transverse strips oriented transversely to the web longitudinal direction, and/or arranged at an equidistant distance from one another, the plurality of transverse strips including a cold-sealable adhesive. 
     
     
         5 . The packaging material web according to  claim 4 , wherein the plurality of transverse strips are each configured to open into the two longitudinal edge strips, a repeating, rectangular, or square pattern of the longitudinal edge strips and the plurality of transverse strips provided with cold-sealable adhesive being formed. 
     
     
         6 . The packaging material web according to  claim 4 , wherein the plurality of transverse strips including an indicator configured to indicate the respective transverse strip, the indicator including a material weakening or a color marking. 
     
     
         7 . The packaging material web according to  claim 4 , wherein the plurality of transverse strips are at least sectionally free of cold-sealable adhesive. 
     
     
         8 . The packaging material web according to  claim 4 , further comprising at least one material weakening row oriented in the web longitudinal direction and/or transversely to the web longitudinal direction configured to form a target tear line. 
     
     
         9 . The packaging material web according to  claim 8 , wherein two transverse material weakening rows formed identically and oriented parallel to one another are arranged directly adjacent to each transverse strip of the plurality of transverse strips, wherein the packaging material web defines a conveying direction and the two transverse material weakening rows are arranged upstream and/or downstream of the transverse strip in the conveying direction. 
     
     
         10 . The packaging web according to  claim 1 , wherein an amount of the cold-sealable adhesive is at least 5 g/m 2 . 
     
     
         11 . The packaging material web according to  claim 1 , wherein the cold-sealable adhesive is mixed with a contrast agent. 
     
     
         12 . The packaging material web according to  claim 1 , wherein the packaging material web is hydrophobized. 
     
     
         13 . A packaging pocket comprising:
 an envelope made of a packaging material web and configured to be closed to form a packaging cavity by cold-sealing edge strips of the packaging material web, the packaging cavity including at least one predefined folding fold introduced into the packaging material web and which is configured to extend into the packaging cavity,   wherein an inner wall bounding the packaging cavity is at least sectionally free of a cold-sealable adhesive coating and/or the folding fold is at least sectionally free of a cold-sealable adhesive.   
     
     
         14 . The packaging pocket according to  claim 13 , further comprising at least two predefined folding folds introduced into the packaging material web, the at least two predefined folding folds being oriented parallel to one another and/or are configured such that the packaging cavity is adaptable to a packaging article to be packaged. 
     
     
         15 . The packaging pocket according to  claim 13 , wherein the packaging cavity partially includes filler material and/or cushioning material. 
     
     
         16 . A packaging material blank for producing a packaging pocket, comprising the packaging material web according to  claim 1 , the packaging material web being cut transversely to the web longitudinal direction and transversely to the at least one folding joint. 
     
     
         17 . A method for producing a packaging material web, comprising:
 providing a web-shaped packaging material including at least one longitudinal edge strip adjoining a longitudinal edge, the at least one longitudinal edge strip including, at least sectionally, a cold-sealable adhesive; and   weakening the web-shaped packaging material centrally with respect to a width dimensioned transversely to a web longitudinal direction to form at least one folding joint extending in the web longitudinal direction, the at least one folding joint defining a folding axis along which two longitudinal web sections connected by the at least one folding joint are configured to be folded over, wherein the packaging material web is free of cold-scalable adhesive at least sectionally along the folding joint.   
     
     
         18 . A method for producing a packaging pocket, comprising:
 providing a packaging material web according to claim  17 ;   introducing at least one folding fold into a web of the packaging material;   forming the packaging material web into an envelope; and   closing the envelope to form a packaging cavity by cold-sealing edge strips of the packaging material web such that the at least one folding fold points into the packaging cavity.   
     
     
         19 . A method for producing a packaging material blank for producing a packaging pocket, comprising:
 providing a packaging material web according to claim  17 ; and   cutting the packaging material web to length transversely to the web longitudinal direction and transversely to the at least one folding joint.
