Abstract
A novel nail comprising a head, a shank extending from the head, a point extending from the shank opposite the head, and a projecting surface extending around and away from the shank at a predetermined distance from the head and a method of using a plurality of the novel nails, a substrate, and an elongated article of manufacture to make string art.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modified1 . A nail comprising:
a head; a shank extending from the head; a point extending from the shank opposite the head; and a projecting surface extending around and away from the shank at a predetermined distance from the head wherein a portion of the shank between the head and the projecting surface and the portion of the shank between the projecting surface and the point have different surfaces.
2 . The nail of claim 1 wherein the portion of the shank between the head and the projecting surface is smooth and the portion of the shank between the projecting surface and the point includes threads.
3 . A method of using a plurality of nails and a substrate wherein each nail comprises a head, a shank extending from the head, a point extending from the shank opposite the head; and a projecting surface extending around and away from the shank at a predetermined distance from the head, the method comprising:
penetrating the plurality of nails into the substrate until the projecting surface of each novel nail engages the substrate; and winding an elongated article of manufacture around the shaft of a plurality of the nails extending above the substrate to make string art.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
