Abstract
The present invention provides a flexible clip detachment does not require the carrying belt to be undone for removal of the sheath and the adherend abrasive first grind stone and/or second grind stone are handily available for sharpening edges with the sheath instead of separate and possibly not available.
Claims
exact text as granted — not AI-modifiedWhat I claim is:
1 . An improved knife sheath 1 selected from a plurality comprises a flexible clip 9 characterized by; a substantial and sufficiently tensile arm in a form of the flexible clip 9 protruding from a first wall 5 adjacent to a first end 3 , therefrom a portion extending generally perpendicular, therefrom a portion extending generally horizontally 5 towardly the second end 4 , therefrom extending a portion towardly the first wall 5 , therefrom extending a portion 3 forming a clip hook 9 a therefrom extending a portion towardly the first end 3 forming a clip hook lip 9 c terminating generally adjacent to a first wall 5 external surface 5 b 1 bonding an adhesive layer 8 bonding a first wall external surface 5 b bonding the grind stone first planar 7 b of a first grind stone 7 selected from a plurality of grind stones providing an abrasive surface 7 a externally facing and/or a second wall external surface 6 b bonding the adhesive layer 8 bonding the grind stone first planar 7 b of a second grind stone 7 c selected from a plurality of grind stones providing the abrasive surface 7 a externally facing.
2 . A knife sheath 1 according to claim one wherein a portion of the first wall external surface 5 b therefrom extending towardly the first wall internal surface 5 a forming least one of a wall recess 6 c bonding an adhesive layer 8 bonding at least one of a grind stone first planar 7 b.
3 . A knife sheath 1 according to claim one wherein a portion of the second wall external surface 6 b therefrom extending towardly the second wall internal surface 6 a forming least one of a wall recess 6 c bonding an adhesive layer 8 bonding at least one of a grind stone first planar 7 b.
4 . A knife sheath 1 according to claim one wherein the adhesive layer 8 bond comprises a temperature sensitive adhesive selected from a plurality of temperature sensitive adhesives bonding respective surfaces providing removable adherends.
5 . A knife sheath 1 according to claim one wherein the adhesive layer 8 comprises of a double-sided tape adhesive layer selected from a plurality of a double-sided tapes bonding respective surfaces providing removeable adherends.
6 . A knife sheath 1 according to claim one wherein the adhesive layer 8 comprises of a permanent adhesive and/or high tack adhesive layer selected from a plurality bonding surfaces providing non-removeable adherends.
7 . A knife sheath 1 according to claim one wherein each one of the first wall external surface 5 b and a second wall external surface 6 b providing at least one of a generally planar portion.
8 . A knife sheath 1 according to claim one wherein the first wall internal surface 5 a and a second wall internal surface 6 a generally conforms to the knife 1 shape selected from a plurality of knives and tools creating a tensioned snug fit.
9 . A knife sheath 1 according to claim one wherein the first wall external surface 5 b and/or the second wall external surface 6 b therefrom a portion extends forming a finger guard 5 c adjacent to the respective grinding stone.
10 . A knife sheath 1 according to claim one wherein the adhesive layer 8 requiring or not requiring a primer for improved adherend adhesion of the adhesive layer 8 selected from a plurality of adhesive layers includes permanent and high tack adhesive bonding contact or non-permanent adhesive contact.
11 . A knife sheath 1 according to claim one wherein the first grind stone 7 and the second grind stone 7 c respectively provide the abrasive surface 7 a selected from a plurality of coating or bonding or covering abrasives providing particle size 10000 micron or less.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
