Bounce-Back Football Device

Abstract

A bounce-back football device is provided. The device is designed for single-player football practice. The device comprised a body, featuring a first end that is flat or slightly curved, a second end in the shape of a traditional football, and laces for finger alignment. The user may grip the second end of the football, aligning their fingers properly by the laces, and throw it against a wall or flat surface such that it may bounce-back to the user instead of bouncing in an obscure direction, as well as eliminating the potential for damage to the wall or flat surface. The device may be comprised of materials suitable for indoor or outdoor use and may appear in sizes suitable for all genders and ages.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A bounce-back football device comprising:
 a body comprised of:
 a lace; 
 a flat first end; and 
 a second end. 
   
     
     
         2 . The bounce-back football device of  claim 1 , wherein the second end is comprised of a half prolate spheroid shape. 
     
     
         3 . The bounce-back football device of  claim 1 , wherein the lace is comprised of a raised lace. 
     
     
         4 . The bounce-back football device of  claim 3 , wherein the lace is comprised of a woven lace. 
     
     
         5 . The bounce-back football device of  claim 3 , wherein the lace is comprised of a textile linen. 
     
     
         6 . The bounce-back football device of  claim 3 , wherein the lace is comprised of a cotton thread. 
     
     
         7 . The bounce-back football device of  claim 1 , wherein the body is comprised of a foam material. 
     
     
         8 . The bounce-back football device of  claim 1 , wherein the body is comprised of an inflatable body. 
     
     
         9 . A bounce-back football device comprising:
 a body comprised of:
 a lace; 
 a rounded first end; and 
 a second end. 
   
     
     
         10 . The bounce-back football device of  claim 9 , wherein the lace is molded. 
     
     
         11 . The bounce-back football device of  claim 9 , wherein the first end is comprised of a different material than the second end. 
     
     
         12 . The bounce-back football device of  claim 9 , wherein the first end is comprised of a foam material. 
     
     
         13 . The bounce-back football device of  claim 9 , wherein the second end is comprised of a leather material. 
     
     
         14 . The bounce-back football device of  claim 9 , wherein the body is comprised of a non-inflatable body. 
     
     
         15 . The bounce-back football device of  claim 9 , wherein the body is comprised of a texture. 
     
     
         16 . The bounce-back football device of  claim 15 , wherein the texture is comprised of a raised texture. 
     
     
         17 . The bounce-back football device of  claim 15 , wherein the body is comprised of a recessed texture. 
     
     
         18 . A method of using a bounce-back football device, the method comprising the following steps:
 providing a bounce-back football device comprised of a first end, a second end comprised of a half prolate spheroid shape, and a lace;   aligning a finger on the lace;   throwing the bounce-back football device against a surface; and   catching the bounce-back football device.   
     
     
         19 . The method of using a bounce-back football device of  claim 18 , wherein the first end is comprised of a flat first end. 
     
     
         20 . The method of using a bounce-back football device of  claim 18 , wherein the first end is comprised of a rounded first end.
