Toilet training seat assembly

Abstract

A toilet training seat assembly comprising an adult toilet seat, a lid and a toilet training seat that are hingedly coupled to one another. The toilet training seat has a raised splash guard and a downward extending barrier. Integrated within the splash guard and lid are a pair of magnets which enable the toilet training seat to remain connected to the lid in either a fully elevated position when the toilet training seat assembly is used by an adult or in a fully lowered position when the lid is closed over the adult toilet seat.

1 . A toilet training seat assembly for use with a toilet, comprising:
 a lid;   an adult toilet seat having a top surface, a bottom surface and a hole;   a toilet training seat having an upper surface and front end, a raised splash guard and a shield wall;   a hinge connecting said lid, adult toilet seat and toilet training seat to one another;   wherein said splash guard forms a hump on said upper surface of said toilet training seat; and   wherein said shield wall extends downward around said front end of said toilet training seat.

The toilet training assembly of  claim 1 , further comprising a lid magnet at said lid, and a splash guard magnet at said splash guard, wherein when said lid magnet is paired with said splash guard magnet and said lid is rotated between an open position and a closed position, said toilet training seat and splash guard rotate together with and attached to said lid. 
     
     
         3 . The toilet training assembly of  claim 1 , said shield wall and said splash guard together direct the flow of urine into said toilet. 
     
     
         4 . The toilet training assembly of  claim 1 , said toilet training seat further comprising a knuckle extending rearward of said toilet training seat and adapted to snap engage to said hinge. 
     
     
         5 . The toilet training assembly of  claim 4 , said knuckle and said hinge adapted to mate and align with one another via a protrusion and matching impression. 
     
     
         6 . The toilet training assembly of  claim 5 , said knuckle and said hinge being adapted to impede lateral movement of said toilet training seat when engaged to said hinge. 
     
     
         7 . The toilet training assembly of  claim 1 , further comprising a pair of lid cylinders and a pair of domed pads located on said lid, wherein said pair of lid cylinders house said pair of domed pads. 
     
     
         8 . The toilet training assembly of  claim 7 , further comprising a plurality of bumpers located on said bottom surface, said bumpers adapted to provide grip between said adult toilet seat and said toilet and to reduce noise when said adult toilet seat contacts said toilet. 
     
     
         9 . The toilet training assembly of  claim 1 , said toilet training seat further comprising a knuckle extending rearward of said toilet training seat and adapted be removably engaged from said hinge. 
     
     
         10 . The toilet training assembly of  claim 1 , wherein said toilet training seat sinks toward said hole of said adult toilet seat. 
     
     
         11 . A combined seating unit for toilet training, comprising:
 a lid;   an adult toilet seat;   a potty seat having a raised splash guard; and   a hinge rotatably connecting said lid, said adult toilet seat and said potty seat to one another;   wherein said splash guard forms a hump on potty seat.   
     
     
         12 . The combined seating unit of  claim 11 , said potty seat further comprising a front end barrier, said front end barrier extending vertically downward from said potty seat. 
     
     
         13 . The combined seating unit of  claim 12 , further comprising a potty seat magnet located at said splash guard and a lid magnet located at said lid, wherein said potty seat magnet and said lid magnet are adapted to pair to one another when said lid and said potty seat are rotated in close proximity to magnetically engage. 
     
     
         14 . The combined seating unit of  claim 13 , wherein when said lid magnet is paired with said potty magnet and said lid is rotated between an open position and a closed position, said potty seat rotates together with and is attached to said lid. 
     
     
         15 . The combined seating unit of  claim 14 , wherein said lid has a front end that rises upward to accommodate said splash guard when said combined seating unit is in a closed position. 
     
     
         16 . A toilet training seat assembly for use with a toilet, comprising:
 a cover;   an adult toilet seat;   a toilet training seat having an integrated raised curved splash guard and a barrier wall;   a hinge rotatably connecting said lid, adult toilet seat and toilet training seat;   wherein said splash guard forms a hump on said upper surface of said toilet training seat; and   wherein said shield wall extends downward around said front end of said toilet training seat.   
     
     
         17 . The toilet training assembly of  claim 16 , wherein said hinge is a soft close hinge. 
     
     
         18 . The toilet training assembly of  claim 16 , wherein said cover has a front end that rises upward to accommodate said splash guard when said cover, adult toilet seat and said adult training seat are in a closed position. 
     
     
         19 . The toilet training assembly of  claim 16 , further comprising a first magnet located at said cover and a second magnet located at said splash guard, wherein when said first magnet is paired with said second magnet and said cover is rotated between an open position and a closed position, said potty seat rotates together with and is attached to said cover. 
     
     
         20 . The toilet training assembly of  claim 19 , said toilet training seat further comprising a knuckle extending rearward of said toilet training seat and adapted to snap engage to said hinge;
 wherein said knuckle and said hinge are adapted to mate and align with one another via a protrusion and matching impression; and   further wherein said knuckle and said hinge are adapted to impede lateral movement of said toilet training seat when engaged to said hinge.
