Abstract
The disclosure concerns a louver arrangement (20) for a portable air treatment unit. The louver arrangement (20) comprises a first louver portion (22) having an outer periphery, a second louver portion (24) moveably connected to the first louver portion (22), and a drive arrangement (28) connected to the first louver portion (22). The drive arrangement (28) is configured to displace the second louver portion (24) from a first position to a second position. In the first position, the second louver portion (24) is arranged within the outer periphery of the first louver portion (22). In the second position, at least a portion of the second louver portion (24) extends beyond the outer periphery of the first louver portion (22).

a first louver portion ( 22 ) having an outer periphery, a second louver portion ( 24 ) moveably connected to the first louver portion ( 22 ), and a drive arrangement ( 28 ) connected to the first louver portion ( 22 ), wherein the drive arrangement ( 28 ) is configured to displace the second louver portion ( 24 ) from a first position to a second position in relation to the first louver portion ( 22 ), wherein in the first position, the second louver portion ( 24 ) is arranged within the outer periphery of the first louver portion ( 22 ), and wherein in the second position, at least a portion of the second louver portion ( 24 ) extends beyond the outer periphery of the first louver portion ( 22 ).

The louver arrangement ( 20 ) according to claim 1 , wherein at least a portion of the first louver portion ( 22 ) extends in a first plane ( 30 ) and at least a portion of the second louver portion ( 24 ) extends in a second plane ( 32 ), and wherein in the second position, the second plane ( 32 ) extends at an angle to the first plane ( 30 ).
3 . The louver arrangement ( 20 ) according to claim 2 , wherein in the first position of the second louver portion ( 24 ), the second plane ( 32 ) is arranged substantially in parallel with the first plane ( 30 ).
4 . The louver arrangement ( 20 ) according to claim 1 , wherein the drive arrangement ( 28 ) defines a displacement path for the second louver portion ( 24 ), and wherein the second louver portion ( 24 ) is displaceable from the first position along the displacement path to the second position.
5 . The louver arrangement ( 20 ) according to claim 4 , wherein the drive arrangement ( 28 ) comprises at least a first track forming member ( 40 ) connected to the first louver portion ( 22 ), wherein
the first track forming member ( 40 ) forms a first guide track ( 42 ), wherein the second louver portion ( 24 ) comprises at least a first track follower ( 44 ) configured to follow the first guide track ( 42 ), and wherein when the drive arrangement ( 28 ) displaces the second louver portion ( 24 ) from the first position to the second position, the first guide track ( 42 ) and the first track follower ( 44 ) cause the second louver portion ( 24 ) to follow the displacement path.

The louver arrangement ( 20 ) according to claim 5 , wherein the first guide track ( 42 ) comprises a straight first portion ( 46 ) and a second portion ( 48 ) angled or curved in relation to the first portion ( 46 ), and wherein the first track follower ( 44 ) is positioned in the second portion ( 48 ) when the second louver portion ( 24 ) is in the second position.
7 . The louver arrangement ( 20 ) according to claim 5 , comprising a second track forming member ( 50 ) connected to the first louver portion ( 22 ), wherein the second track forming member ( 50 ) forms a second guide track ( 52 ), wherein
the second louver portion ( 24 ) comprises at a second track follower ( 54 ) configured to follow the second guide track ( 52 ), wherein the second louver portion ( 24 ) has a longitudinal extension (L 2 ) extending between a first lateral side ( 56 ) and a second lateral side ( 58 ) of the second louver portion ( 24 ), and wherein the first track forming member ( 40 ) is arranged adjacent to the first lateral side ( 56 ) and the second track forming member ( 50 ) is arranged adjacent to the second lateral side ( 58 ).
8 . The louver arrangement ( 20 ) according to claim 7 , wherein the second lateral side ( 58 ) of the second louver portion ( 24 ) is arranged adjacent to the second track forming member ( 50 ) with a play between the second lateral side ( 58 ) and the second track forming member ( 50 ).
9 . The louver arrangement ( 20 ) according to claim 8 , wherein the play between the second lateral side ( 58 ) and the second track forming member ( 50 ) is within a range of 0.1-2% of a length of the second louver portion ( 24 ) along the longitudinal extension (L 2 ).

The louver arrangement ( 20 ) according to claim 7 , wherein the first track follower ( 44 ) extends from the first lateral side ( 56 ) of the second louver portion ( 24 ) in parallel with the second plane ( 32 ), and wherein the second track follower ( 54 ) extends from the second lateral side ( 58 ) in parallel with the second plane ( 32 ).

The louver arrangement ( 20 ) according to claim 7 , wherein the second louver portion ( 24 ) comprises a third track follower ( 64 ) extending from the first lateral side ( 56 ) of the second louver portion ( 24 ) in parallel with the second plane ( 32 ) and in parallel with the first track follower ( 44 )

The louver arrangement ( 20 ) according to claim 11 , wherein the third track follower ( 64 ) is positioned in the first portion ( 46 ) of the first guide track ( 42 ) or in the second portion ( 48 ) of the first guide track ( 42 ) when the second louver portion ( 24 ) is in the second position.
13 . The louver arrangement ( 20 ) according to claim 5 , wherein the second louver portion ( 24 ) is connected to the drive arrangement ( 28 ) via the first track follower ( 44 ).

The louver arrangement ( 20 ) according to claim 11 , wherein the first and third track followers ( 44 , 64 ) extend through the first track forming member ( 40 ), and wherein the first and third track followers ( 44 , 64 ) are secured to the drive arrangement ( 28 ) by a mounting member ( 66 ), the mounting member ( 66 ) connecting to the first and third track followers ( 44 , 64 ) on opposite sides of the first track forming member ( 40 ).
15 . The louver arrangement ( 20 ) according to claim 14 , wherein the mounting member ( 66 ) is arranged in sliding abutment with the first track forming member ( 40 ).
16 . The louver arrangement ( 20 ) according to claim 1 , wherein drive arrangement ( 28 ) comprises a motor ( 34 ) and a linkage ( 36 ) interconnecting the motor ( 36 ) with the second louver portion ( 24 ).
17 . The louver arrangement ( 20 ) according to claim 1 , wherein drive arrangement ( 28 ) comprises a motor ( 34 ) and a leadscrew ( 38 ) interconnecting the motor ( 34 ) with the second louver portion ( 24 ).

A portable air treatment unit ( 2 ) comprising a housing ( 4 ), wherein an airflow path ( 6 ) for air to be treated extends through the housing ( 4 ), wherein the airflow path ( 6 ) has an inlet ( 8 ) in the housing ( 4 ) and an outlet ( 10 ) in the housing ( 4 ), and wherein the portable air treatment unit ( 2 ) comprises a louver arrangement ( 20 ) according to claim 1 arranged at the outlet ( 10 ) of the airflow path ( 6 ).

The portable air treatment unit ( 2 ) according to claim 18 , wherein the outlet ( 10 ) of the airflow path ( 6 ) is arranged at an upper portion of the housing ( 4 ) when the portable air treatment unit ( 2 ) is positioned on a horizontal surface in an ordinary operating position of the portable air treatment unit ( 2 ).

The portable air treatment unit ( 2 ) according to claim 19 , wherein an opening face of the outlet ( 10 ) extends in an outlet plane ( 26 ), and wherein the outlet plane ( 26 ) extends at an angle (α) within a range of 0-45 degrees of a horizontal plane when the portable air conditioning unit ( 2 ) is positioned in the ordinary operating position.
