Abstract

Embodiments provide a heterocyclic compound, a light-emitting device including the heterocyclic compound, an electronic apparatus including the light-emitting device, and an electronic equipment including the light-emitting device. The light-emitting device includes a first electrode, a second electrode facing the first electrode, an interlayer between the first electrode and the second electrode including an emission layer, and the heterocyclic compound. The heterocyclic compound is represented by Formula 1, which is explained in the specification:

         1 . A light-emitting device comprising:

         2 . The light-emitting device of  claim 1 , wherein the emission layer comprises the heterocyclic compound. 
     
     
         3 . The light-emitting device of  claim 1 , wherein
 the emission layer comprises a host and a dopant, and   the host comprises the heterocyclic compound.   
     
     
         4 . The light-emitting device of  claim 1 , wherein the light-emitting device has a triplet energy greater than or equal to about 2.75 eV. 
     
     
         5 . The light-emitting device of  claim 1 , further comprising at least one of:
 a first capping layer outside the first electrode; and   a second capping layer outside the second electrode, wherein   at least one of the first capping layer and the second capping layer comprises the heterocyclic compound.   
     
     
         6 . An electronic apparatus comprising the light-emitting device of  claim 1 . 
     
     
         7 . The electronic apparatus of  claim 6 , further comprising:
 a thin-film transistor, wherein   the thin-film transistor comprises a source electrode and a drain electrode, and   the first electrode of the light-emitting device is electrically connected to at least one of the source electrode and the drain electrode.   
     
     
         8 . The electronic apparatus of  claim 7 , further comprising:
 a color filter, a color conversion layer, a touch-screen layer, a polarizing layer, or a combination thereof.   
     
     
         9 . An electronic equipment comprising the light-emitting device of  claim 1 . 
     
     
         10 . The electronic equipment of  claim 8 , wherein the electronic equipment is a flat panel display, a curved display, a computer monitor, a medical monitor, a television, a billboard, an indoor light, an outdoor light, a signal light, a head-up display, a fully transparent display, a partially transparent display, a flexible display, a rollable display, a foldable display, a stretchable display, a laser printer, a telephone, a mobile phone, a tablet computer, a phablet, a personal digital assistant (PDA), a wearable device, a laptop computer, a digital camera, a camcorder, a viewfinder, a micro display, a three-dimensional (3D) display, a virtual reality display, an augmented reality display, a vehicle, a video wall with multiple displays tiled together, a theater screen, a stadium screen, a phototherapy device, or a signboard.
