Abstract
The present invention relates to a flat plug connector ( 10 ), a flat plug connector system ( 1 ) and a method for manufacturing a flat plug connector ( 10 ), wherein the flat plug connector ( 10 ) comprises a two-part plug connector housing ( 11 ) and a conductor portion ( 30 ) with a flexible flat conductor ( 110 ) for electrically conductive connection to contacts ( 70 ) of a complementary flat plug connector ( 50 ), wherein the conductor portion ( 30 ) with the flexible flat conductor ( 110 ) is arrangeable in the plug connector housing ( 11 ) without deformation, and wherein the conductor portion ( 30 ) with the flexible flat conductor ( 110 ) is arranged, at least in sections, between a first upper plug connector housing part ( 40 ) and a second lower plug connector housing part ( 20 ), wherein the first plug connector housing part ( 40 ) and the second plug connector housing part ( 20 ) are fixed relative to each other.

16 . A flat plug connector,
wherein the flat plug connector comprises a two-part plug connector housing and a conductor portion with a flexible flat conductor for electrically conductive connection to contacts of a complementary flat plug connector, wherein the conductor portion with the flexible flat conductor is arrangeable in the plug connector housing without deformation, and wherein the conductor portion with the flexible flat conductor is arranged, at least in sections, between a first upper plug connector housing part and a second lower plug connector housing part, wherein the first plug connector housing part and the second plug connector housing part are fixed relative to each other.
17 . The flat plug connector according to claim 16 , wherein the first upper plug connector housing part and the second lower plug connector housing part form an opening on a front side, in the plugging direction, of the flat plug connector, wherein the first upper plug connector housing part and the second lower plug connector housing part are substantially closed on a rear side, in the plugging direction, of the flat plug connector, and wherein the first upper plug connector housing part and the second lower plug connector housing part form a protection for the conductor portion.
18 . The flat plug connector according to claim 16 , wherein the first upper plug connector housing part and the second lower plug connector housing part are fixed relative to each other in a direction which is substantially perpendicular to the plugging direction of the flat plug connector.

The flat plug connector according to claim 16 , wherein the first upper plug connector housing part and the second lower plug connector housing part are fixable relative to each other in a form-fit manner, and in particular fixable relative to each other in a non-destructively detachable manner,
wherein the first upper plug connector housing part and the second lower plug connector housing part form a form-fit engagement by means of one or more protrusions which extend in a direction which is substantially perpendicular to the plugging direction of the flat plug connector.
20 . The flat plug connector according to claim 16 , wherein the conductor portion is arranged in a sandwich-like manner, in sections, between the first upper plug connector housing part and the second lower plug connector housing part,
such that on a front side, in the plugging direction, of the flat plug connector, the conductor portion is adjacent to one of the first upper and second lower plug connector housing parts, and the conductor portion is spaced apart from the other one of the first upper and second lower plug connector housing parts.
21 . The flat plug connector according to claim 16 , wherein the conductor portion is connected to at least one of the first upper plug connector housing part and the second lower plug connector housing part in a material-fit, friction-fit and/or form-fit manner.
22 . The flat plug connector according to claim 16 , wherein the flexible flat conductor comprises a flexible printed circuit board, or a ribbon cable.
23 . The flat plug connector according to claim 16 , wherein one of the first upper plug connector housing part and the second lower plug connector housing part has multiple stiffening elements,
wherein the multiple stiffening elements each extend, at least in sections, in the plugging direction of the flat plug connector.

The flat plug connector according to claim 23 , wherein one of the first upper plug connector housing part and the second lower plug connector housing part is formed in steps, with a step adjacent to the conductor portion and a step spaced apart from the conductor portion, wherein the multiple stiffening elements are arranged on a side facing the conductor portion of the step spaced apart from the conductor portion.
25 . The flat plug connector according to claim 16 , wherein one of the first plug connector housing part and the second plug connector housing part comprises a coupling portion for form-fit coupling of the flat plug connector to a complementary flat plug connector,
wherein the coupling portion has a receptacle, for form-fit arrangement of a securing element at the receptacle, wherein the securing element is configured to secure the form-fit coupling between the flat plug connector and the complementary flat plug connector against detachment.
26 . A flat plug connector system comprising:
a flat plug connector according to claim 16 , and a complementary flat plug connector which is couplable to the flat plug connector;
wherein the complementary flat plug connector has a plurality of contacts, for electrically conductively contacting the conductor portion of the flat plug connector; and
wherein in a coupled state of the flat plug connector system, wherein the flat plug connector and the complementary flat plug connector are coupled to each other, a contact holder of the complementary flat plug connector, on which the plurality of contacts is arranged, is arranged between the first upper plug connector housing part and the second lower plug connector housing part of the flat plug connector.
27 . A flat plug connector,
wherein the flat plug connector comprises a two-part plug connector housing and a conductor portion with a flexible flat conductor for electrically conductive connection to contacts of a complementary flat plug connector, wherein the conductor portion is arranged, at least in sections, between a first upper plug connector housing part and a second lower plug connector housing part, wherein the first upper plug connector housing part and the second lower plug connector housing part are fixable relative to each other; and wherein the first upper plug connector housing part and the second lower plug connector housing part form a protection for the conductor portion.

The flat plug connector according to claim 27 , wherein the conductor portion with the flexible flat conductor is arrangeable in the plug connector housing without deformation, and wherein the conductor portion with the flexible flat conductor is arranged, at least in sections, between the first upper plug connector housing part and the second lower plug connector housing part.
29 . The flat plug connector according to claim 27 , wherein the first upper plug connector housing part and the second lower plug connector housing part form a touch protection for the conductor portion.
30 . The flat plug connector according to claim 27 , wherein the conductor portion is arranged in a sandwich-like manner, in sections, between the first upper plug connector housing part and the second lower plug connector housing part,
such that on a front side, in the plugging direction, of the flat plug connector, the conductor portion is adjacent to one of the first upper and second lower plug connector housing parts, and the conductor portion is spaced apart from the other one of the first upper and second lower plug connector housing parts.
31 . The flat plug connector according to claim 27 , wherein one of the first upper plug connector housing part and the second lower plug connector housing part has multiple stiffening elements,
wherein the multiple stiffening elements each extend, at least in sections, in the plugging direction of the flat plug connector.

The flat plug connector according to claim 31 , wherein one of the first upper plug connector housing part and the second lower plug connector housing part is formed in steps, with a step adjacent to the conductor portion and a step spaced apart from the conductor portion, wherein the multiple stiffening elements are arranged on a side facing the conductor portion of the step spaced apart from the conductor portion.
33 . The flat plug connector according to claim 27 , wherein one of the first plug connector housing part and the second plug connector housing part comprises a coupling portion for form-fit coupling of the flat plug connector to a complementary flat plug connector,
wherein the coupling portion has a receptacle, for form-fit arrangement of a securing element at the receptacle, wherein the securing element is configured to secure the form-fit coupling between the flat plug connector and the complementary flat plug connector against detachment.
34 . A flat plug connector system comprising:
a flat plug connector according to claim 27 , and a complementary flat plug connector which is couplable to the flat plug connector;
wherein the complementary flat plug connector has a plurality of contacts, for electrically conductively contacting the conductor portion of the flat plug connector; and
wherein in a coupled state of the flat plug connector system, wherein the flat plug connector and the complementary flat plug connector are coupled to each other, a contact holder of the complementary flat plug connector, on which the plurality of contacts is arranged, is arranged between the first upper plug connector housing part and the second lower plug connector housing part of the flat plug connector.
35 . A method for manufacturing a flat plug connector, wherein the method comprises the steps of:
providing a first upper plug connector housing part; providing a second lower plug connector housing part; arranging a conductor portion with a flexible flat conductor in the second lower plug connector housing part; arranging the first upper plug connector housing part at the conductor portion which is arranged in the second lower plug connector housing part; and fixing the first upper plug connector housing part and the second lower plug connector housing part to each other.Join the waitlist — get patent alerts
