Abstract

An air conditioner includes a notification necessity determiner that determines, based on a signal level of a communication frame received from another air conditioner, communication group information set to the other air conditioner, and communication group information set to the air conditioner itself, necessity of notification to a remote controller, and a notification information transmitter that generates, when the notification necessity determiner determines that notification to the remote controller is necessary, notification information including information relating to the other air conditioner, information relating to the air conditioner itself, and information relating to the signal level, and transmits the generated notification information to the remote controller. When receiving the notification information transmitted from any of the air conditioners, the remote controller performs notification to a user based on the notification information.

An air conditioning system including two or more refrigerant systems connected to a plurality of air conditioners via a refrigerant pipe and a communication line, communication between the plurality of air conditioners via the communication line being performed with high-frequency signal, the air conditioning system comprising:
 a notifier, wherein   each of air conditioners included in the air conditioning system includes
 a signal level determiner to determine a signal level of a communication frame received from another air conditioner included in the air conditioning system, and 
 circuitry to
 determine necessity of notification relating to incorrect setting of communication group information to the notifier, based on the signal level determined by the signal level determiner, communication group information set to the another air conditioner, and communication group information set to the air conditioner itself, and 
 generate, when notification to the notifier is determined to be necessary, notification information including information relating to the another air conditioner, information relating to the air conditioner itself, and information relating to the signal level, and transmit the generated notification information to the notifier, and 
 
   when receiving the notification information from any of the air conditioners included in the air conditioning system, the notifier performs notification to a user based on the notification information.   
     
     
         2 . The air conditioning system according to  claim 1 , wherein
 when the communication group information set to the another air conditioner and the communication group information set to the air conditioner itself match each other and the signal level is a predetermined first threshold or lower, the circuitry determines that notification to the notification means is necessary.   
     
     
         3 . The air conditioning system according to  claim 1 , wherein
 when the communication group information set to the another air conditioner and the communication group information set to the air conditioner itself are different from each other and the signal level is a predetermined second threshold or higher, the circuitry determines that notification to the notifier is necessary.   
     
     
         4 . The air conditioning system according to  claim 1 , further comprising:
 a system information input receiver to receive input of system information including at least one of a wiring length of the communication line, a number of indoor units, or a type of the communication line, wherein   the signal level determiner determines the signal level using a level determination threshold determined based on the input system information.   
     
     
         5 . An air conditioning system including two or more refrigerant systems connected to a plurality of air conditioners via a refrigerant pipe and a communication line, communication between the plurality of air conditioners via the communication line being performed with high-frequency signal, the air conditioning system comprising:
 a notifier, wherein   each of air conditioners included in the air conditioning system includes
 a signal level determiner to determine a signal level of a communication frame received from another air conditioner included in the air conditioning system, and 
 circuitry to generate notification information including communication group information set to the another air conditioner, communication group information set to the air conditioner itself, the signal level determined by the signal level determiner, and transmit the generated notification information to the notifier, and 
   the notifier determines necessity of notification relating to incorrect setting of communication group information to a user based on the notification information received from each of the air conditioners included in the air conditioning system, and when determining that notification to the user is necessary, performs notification to the user based on the notification information.   
     
     
         6 . The air conditioning system according to  claim 5 , wherein
 the notifier identifies, based on the notification information received from each of the air conditioners included in the air conditioning system, an air conditioner of which the communication group information is highly likely incorrectly set, and notifies a user of information relating to the identified air conditioner.   
     
     
         7 . The air conditioning system according to  claim 6 , wherein
 the notifier resets communication group information to the identified air conditioner.   
     
     
         8 . The air conditioning system according to  claim 2 , wherein
 when the communication group information set to the another air conditioner and the communication group information set to the air conditioner itself are different from each other and the signal level is a predetermined second threshold or higher, the circuitry determines that notification to the notifier is necessary.   
     
     
         9 . The air conditioning system according to  claim 2 , further comprising:
 a system information input receiver to receive input of system information including at least one of a wiring length of the communication line, a number of indoor units, or a type of the communication line, wherein   the signal level determiner determines the signal level using a level determination threshold determined based on the input system information.   
     
     
         10 . The air conditioning system according to  claim 3 , further comprising:
 a system information input receiver to receive input of system information including at least one of a wiring length of the communication line, a number of indoor units, or a type of the communication line, wherein   the signal level determiner determines the signal level using a level determination threshold determined based on the input system information.
