Bench press non-slip mat

Abstract

According to one aspect of the present invention disclosed herein, there is provided a mat for use with a bench press machine, comprising: a surface material; one or more pairs of elastic straps on opposite sides of the surface material; and one or more pairs of fastener straps connected to the respective ends of the one or more elastic straps.

What is claimed is: 
     
         1 . A mat for use with a bench press machine, comprising:
 a surface material;   one or more pairs of elastic straps on opposite sides of the surface material; and   one or more pairs of fastener straps connected to the respective ends of the one more elastic straps.   
     
     
         2 . The mat for use with a bench press machine of  claim 1 , wherein the surface material is 11-13″ wide and 19-21″ long. 
     
     
         3 . The mat for use with a bench press machine of  claim 1 , wherein the two pairs of elastic straps on opposite sides of the surface material are 2″ long placed at 3″ off the top and bottom of the mat. 
     
     
         4 . The mat for use with a bench press machine of  claim 1 , wherein the two pairs of hook and loop fastener straps connected to the ends of the elastic straps are 7″ long and 2″ wide. 
     
     
         5 . The mat for use with a bench press machine of  claim 1 , wherein the surface material is an anti-slip material. 
     
     
         6 . The mat for use with a bench press machine of  claim 1 , wherein the number of pairs of straps is two.
