Trapezoidal blind-corner cabinet and matching mechanized pull-out system for improved access to and utilization of blind-corner storage space

Abstract

A trapezoidal blind-corner cabinet (see FIG. 9 ), particularly a blind-corner cabinet generally shaped as a right-angle-trapezoid (see FIG. 8 ), or a truncated right-angle-trapezoid (see drawing 901 ), with a diagonal sidewall/blind-panel (see drawing 902 ), forming a cabinet with a back that is longer (i.e., wider) than the cabinet's front and which is primarily designed for being placed in a corner, and or matching mechanized pull-out storage systems (see FIGS. 10 and 11 for example embodiments) designed to be installed in and to function with such trapezoidal blind-corner cabinets.

A cabinet in the general shape of a right-angle-trapezoid in which the front and back sides of such cabinet are parallel, one of the cabinet's sidewalls is perpendicular to both the front and the back of the cabinet, and the fourth major sidewall, which is also the “blind-panel”, is angled (see drawing  902 ), forming a cabinet with a back that is longer (i.e., wider) than the cabinet's front. The acute angle corner of the cabinet that is the object of this invention may be truncated as depicted in  FIG.  9   , drawing  901 , so as to form a modified near-right-angle-trapezoidal shape that forms a pentagon-shaped cabinet rather than a true quadrilateral cabinet. 
     
     
         2 . A mechanized pull-out storage systems consisting of shelves, trays, or baskets using pivoting, rotating, swinging, swiveling, and or sliding hardware, with such system designed to functionally fit in a right-angle-trapezoid cabinet that is the object of claim- 1 .
