Cast shoe

Abstract

A cast shoe has a rigid sole, an outsole and a shoe upper. The rigid sole is made of a mixture of polypropylene impact copolymers and thermoplastic rubber. The outsole is disposed under the rigid sole, is made of thermoplastic rubber, and has multiple slip-proof protrusions formed on a bottom of the outsole. The shoe upper is disposed on the rigid sole and forms a wearing space with the rigid sole. The rigid sole has a higher hardness to stabilize a user's foot, and the outsole has a lower hardness to absorb reaction force when contacting the ground. The multiple slip-proof protrusions increase the friction force between the outsole and the ground. Comfort and safety of wearing the cast shoe are thus improved.

1 . A cast shoe comprising:
 a rigid sole made of a mixture of polypropylene impact copolymers and thermoplastic rubber;   an outsole disposed under the rigid sole, made of thermoplastic rubber, and having multiple slip-proof protrusions formed on a bottom of the outsole;   a shoe upper disposed on the rigid sole and having two wing portions and a heel portion connected between the two wing portions in one piece; and   a toe guard disposed on the rigid sole;   wherein the outsole has a lower hardness than that of the rigid sole; and   the cast shoe has at least one hook and loop fastener disposed on the two wing portions of the shoe upper and configured to connect the two wing portions when the two wing portions are overlapped to enclose a wearing space with the heel portion and the toe guard.   
     
     
         2 . The cast shoe as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the cast shoe has a shoe pad disposed on the rigid sole. 
     
     
         3 . The cast shoe as claimed in  claim 1 , wherein the rigid sole and the outsole are connected to each other by two-shot molding. 
     
     
         4 . The cast shoe as claimed in  claim 2 , wherein the rigid sole and the outsole are co-injection molded.
