Abstract

An aerosol-generating article is provided, including: an aerosol-forming substrate in an aerosol-forming substrate portion; and a substrate wrapper at least partly circumscribing the aerosol-forming substrate portion, the substrate wrapper having a thickness of 50 micrometers or more, the substrate wrapper including one or more layers having a same length in a longitudinal direction of the aerosol-generating article, and a total density of the aerosol-forming substrate portion being more than 0.71 milligram per cubic millimeter. An aerosol-generating system including the aerosol-generating article and an aerosol-generating device is also provided.
